Unfortunately, to sign all the players we expect to sign this season, we'll have to effectively cull 8-10 players from the roster.

Here's who I think transfers:

QB - Starkel at a minimum, possibly Blumrick if he can't overcome Caldaza in the spring.

RB - Kibodi might transfer, but I just don't see it at this point.

WR - Keynel McZeal will never see the field. Aaron Hansford needs to move to linebacker if he wants to see playing time.

OL - I think Kellen Dietsch or Riley Anderson are the most likely candidates.

DL - Not sure any transfer.

LB - Absolutely not

DB - I don't ever see Moses Reynolds seeing the field in any capacity.

ST - If LaCamera doesn't play again this season, I don't see him accepting relegation to kickoff specialist. Small has clearly passed him given his opportunity

Your thoughts?

I'm thinking several more junior to be receivers, and several mores DB's as well.

I thought the same thing for this year, but then Santino happened.

Never underestimate the softness Sumlin recruited.

The only linebackers left after this season are Hines, Okeke, Johnson and Dodson.

Two of those would have started.

Mann is the kickoff guy anyway, so I see LaCamera moving on

DL - Ondario Robinson has burned his shirt and hasn't even seen garbage time. Cam Horry moved from TE haven't heard from him since.

DB -Antonio Howard, Devin Morris, Montel Parker (apparently moved from receiver already to a spot that is already crowded and getting worse), Roney Elam won't start as a SR.

OL - McCoy may go pro. Prater going to be a SR and won't start.

We basically need all of the above names to move on or we are going to have bad attrition which attrition of productive players on your team.

This is a huge overreaction.

When did Ondario Robinson burn his shirt? He redshirted last season.

My thought as well.

My guess is at least: 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WRs, some DBs, plus a guy or two we wouldn’t expect. Who specifically? No idea, I don’t pay that much attention to the specifics of the depth chart, just look at how many players we have overall at each position.

I was so pumped about him. I thought he’d be an all conference type.

If I had to name attrition based off of lack of production and development: (or playing time)

QB Nick Starkel
RB Jacob Kibodi
WR Keynel McZeal
WR Aaron Hansford
OL Riley Anderson
OL Kellen Dietsch
DL Ondario Robinson
DL Camron Horry
DB Roney Elam
DB Devin Morris
DB Moses Reynolds

That's 11. Add that to the seniors leaving (Etwe, Gillaspea, Wood, Lanfear, Sutherland, Durham, Keke, Mack, Alaka, Garner, Wilson and Capers-Smith) and you've got 23.

Right now we have 25 committed with 9 enrolling early. We'd have to lose 2 more at a minimum to have exactly 85 assuming we don't get anyone else. Clearly we would make room for Dean, Isaac, Stripling and maybe one more which would mean we would have to lose a total of 17 players minimum that aren't graduating seniors.

This is a nice visual of our current numbers

I hope not. we need continuity in the biggest way in coaching. At least for 2-3 years in my estimation

I expect to lose even more than expected, including a couple we don't necessarily want to as fans. Jimbo has to make room on his team for the players HE wants

Rumor is some players do have their transfer requests in. Given what is being publicly played out at Clemson, I think we should just sit back and see what CSCG's hit rate is.

Maybe we should revisit this statement...
