We can do better. To have this shitty of a QB start for us for 4 yrs is embarrassing.

Texas A&M deserves better both on and off the field.

Mond has officially opted out of Jerrod Johnson's, Johnny Manziel's, Corey Pullig's and Ryan Tannehill's records.

He should be used to mentor a young quarterback.

He has no business mentoring or even giving tips to a QB. In fact, just the opposite might be true.

Jimbo is being racist for not giving a better lighter-skinned QB an opportunity.

There have been a couple of decent recruits. Supposedly they had a good camp. That's what Jimbo has conveyed for the past few weeks.

I bet if we could hire a QB guru head coach for $75 million and then gave him 2-3 recruiting classes, surely he could find a better QB

People will point to how his completion percentage has gotten better each season. Doesn’t matter, he still has way too many overthrows, doesn’t find open receivers by going through progressions, plays scared, doesn’t take care of the football, and isn’t a good leader for the team.

I find it hard to believe we don’t have a QB on the roster that isn’t better. If that’s true, we really are in trouble and jimbo needs to recruit 5 QBs this year to find someone that will pan out.

I’m not sure what’s worse, jimbo not recognizing that Mond isn’t the answer, or that jimbo is too stubborn to go in a different direction.

I understand your thoughts on that, but a "woke" dude like Kelley needs to just get the frick out and go mentor some young BLM jackasses.

You can thank Michael Young for Mond still being the starter. That fricking waste of cells can't be gone soon enough.

Even KEVIN SUMLIN benched Mond.

What alarmed me was a sense of getting over the hump with an experienced QB to start the season against a lower tier SEC team albeit with brains as much as brawn. I hoped to see a spark indicating improved play. And I cautiously watched the other scores to get a feel for how the three in-conference teams with new coaches were doing. And it became apparent to me we aren't any better than last year and now we will have Miss State, Ole Miss and Arky breathing down our neck. Arky may prove to be the easy task of the three but the other two have a prideful history in the SEC and will not be easy. I was not comforted by what I heard from the game. I didn't watch it so I don't know if the visual was as bad as the audio. Jimbo's excuses in the after game presser sounded eerily similar to what I heard last year.

Olin Buchanan put out a telling stat.

Mond hasn't thrown more than 1 TD pass in a game since Mississippi State 2019.

Brian Perroni put out another one.

Mond's yards per attempt was fewer than 7 for the 5th straight game.

I am guessing that Jimbo had 3 main drivers on why Mond finished the game:

1) He likes to have 1 designated starter and avoid QB controversies. Mond is the designated starter and has to play poorly over more than 1 game to lose that designation. I am sure he was shocked to see his SR QB turn into a turnover machine.

2) We were able to maintain the narrow lead throughout the game. This is where you get him saying he does not want to put inexperienced player X (Calzada) in the game when the game is tight and on the line.

3) If Jimbo benches Mond for poor play in any game, that will be it for Mond short of an injury to Calzada or Calzada playing so poorly over at least a couple of games that he thinks we have to go back to Mond for the best chance of maximizing wins in the remaining season. I don't think we will see Jimbo doing any kind of routine QB rotation.

We will have our QB answer for the rest of the season determined in the upcoming 3 game stretch.
