There is of course something to this. I like the guy and the players obviously do. But the halftime thing and the end-of-the-game thing... bleah.

This is just wrong. I actually expected Ole Miss to win. I'd be happy with a 1-point win. I'm definitely NOT happy with giving up (and yeah, it really was just giving up) scoring opportunities that gave Ole Miss a chance.

I wasn't mad about halftime. But I was bothered by not punching it in in that last offensive series.
But looking back, going for the field goal was the safe bet. The way our defense had stepped up in the second half, I think Sumlin was counting on them stepping up one last time. Part of me is still a little mad because I wanted to our linemen to earn this win, but they didn't. Our run game was just dog shite.

The terrible state of affairs in the SEC this year is going to lead to Sumlin sticking around another year unless we see an epic blowout this week, LSU doesn't exactly have an epic blowout type offense.
