The scary thing is our huge 2019 class of probably 28 kids. Some guys on the roster now (receivers and corners) have got to go, get processed, trap doored, etc....
They are incented to repeat this story. And if works for Santino, they all will.

If it works for Santino, then every kid, on every college team in the country looking to transfer, could do the same thing. That is a slippery slope to go down.
Coaches would start black balling transfer kids, why would they want to take the risk of the kids coming to their school, not being happy and wanting to transfer again, then using all the infractions they saw at their new school to move to a 3rd one without losing time again.

I read that article... I don't give much of anything to the alleged payments.
The article reeks of a kid who had a rough go of it. A kid who was used to a certain type of practice and a kid that didn't like the new coaches or how they coached.
The article is mostly about him and his dad getting their feelings hurt, with an "oh yeah, btw, I was handed cash" as a kicker to get the waiver.
Charmin soft. If that's the player Sumlin was recruiting we are better off that he's flown the coop.

Olin asked something interesting. Why was Santino in charge of hosting recruits and given the money to do so? He's not a leader. He's not from Texas or an area where we normally recruit (Co). He has even played a down on Kyle Field yet.

It’s a great white lie, tell some small fib that can’t be proven or disproven so that neither you nor the team gets in trouble, but you still get your waiver.

For what it’s worth looch has come out and basically said this is a huge nothing burger
1. Players parents attend practice every day. Lots of moms, And no one else is saying anything about foul language and mistreatment of players
2. IF AND IF It is proven that practice started a little early the NCAA might make us start a little late to compensate
3. IF we gave money, fess up to it and the penalty Will be minuscule

I for one am completely taken aback that vulgar laguage is being used on a football field.

its pretty common for players from out of state, to host recruits that also arent from texas to give them a better perspective.

My favorite part is santino threw three minor things at the wall hoping one would stick.
It’s a weak move by a weak man with a weak father. I feel sorry for them.

C Kirk just responded to Trevor:

Agreed, can’t do it your own way and expect to see results. You see what happens with the guys that come in and do it the right way and trust the system.
