Here’s proof of how injured he was. This photo was taken less than a week after the brutal incident.
Note the extreme swelling in the ankle.

Tanner Schorp
Then Erick Young tweeted Extra Practice three star in eye emojis.
So yeah Santino made a lot of enemies this week.

just curious, are there any bowls with a P12/SEC tie in?
Posted on 8/22/18 at 6:10 pm to Uncle Gunnysack
Not right now. There was a rumor the Vegas Bowl will be once it moves to the new stadium
Posted on 8/22/18 at 6:19 pm to Uncle Gunnysack
We shouldn’t be aiming for the type of bowls that Arizona will be in.

The only way we play Arizona in a bowl is if they somehow make the playoff.

I had not noticed this part until Olin chimed in about it this AM:
24. Twenty four. On a bad ankle. bullshite? Yes, that's bullshite.
quote:
According to Marchiol, Jacobi told him to take four ibuprofens and advised him that he should continue with the practice and that X-rays would be taken afterward. Marchiol said he returned to practice and ran 24 100-yard sprints until he could not feel his ankle anymore.

We should scour twitter and see how many of our players call him out.

Sucks that we are basically the guinea-pig for this new NCAA transfer rule. Like most things, it probably sounded good on paper but the execution is terrible. It’s a slippery slope if they allow this little pansy to get away with it.
And whether or not the allegations are true: 1) everybody else does it and 2) this is 100% him trying to not lose a year of elegibilty, nothing more, nothing less.
Kid is a headcase if he truly has a goal to play in the NFL, he’s not going to get there under Sumlin’s coaching and soft culture.
Sadly there are probably more of this type on the team that sumlin recruited, we need to flush all of these kids out. Anybody who willingly tries to throw their old program and teammates under the bus for their own self gain isn’t someone who belongs on a team, especially ours.

He will get the waiver because he checked the boxes and the NCAA will err on the side of the health of a player.
I think this shows how wide the barn door is opened and this has largely been looked at as the kid is FOS but he will likely get his way. Look for the NCAA to really use this instance to tighten up the rule.

“We’d be in our defense running our plays and if the offense caught a ball you’d see Elko go running over and go, ‘What the f---? You’re supposed to (cover) here over the top,’” Marchiol said, describing a voluntary workout.
“They called us soft all the time," Marichol added about the new Texas A&M coaching staff. “They kept telling us, ‘This is gonna get worse, you haven’t seen shite.' "
“Everybody was scared,” he said.
Unless other players come out with the same accusation, I do not see his weak soft arse getting the waiver

Sumlin coaching up Marchiol to read from his script is probably the first documented instance of Kevin Sumlin coaching a player up for anything.

Non Hacker that got butthurt when he wasn't named a starter. Good riddance. The kid was depth at best. Not a lot of supporters among the former Lettermen either.
Last time I checked HW6 still runs both ways. Glad he cleared a scholarship. Not a good look playing these games for immediate eligibility.
