In four of the last seven full seasons (our SEC time), the result was a regional exit. Chances are extremely high that will be the case this year.

So a 43% we advance to the supers or better. Without looking it up, I’d say we’re probably near the top of all teams.

For "fun" I took the top 15 in the D1 poll then added Texas A&M, South Carolina, North Carolina, Lsu, Rice, and Oregon St.
Here is how they rank when it comes to super for better from 2013-2019.
1. Vanderbilt & Louisville - 86%
3. Lsu - 71%
4. Mississippi St & TCU - 57%
6. Texas A&M, Arkansas, Florida, Texas Tech, UCLA, Oklahoma St, South Carolina, Oregon St - 43%
14. Ole Miss, Miami, East Carolina, Texas, North Carolina - 29%
19. Rice - 14%
20. Georgia Tech & Tennessee - 0%
We're not in terrible company. I could probably find a few more good teams to add to the list like Florida St, Oregon, Cal St, NC State, and maybe one of them is ahead of us too. Ultimately, we've been very good at being very good. We're just never been great constantly.
I think we're the only team on the list that has made the tourney consistently and not gone 2nQ in regionals.

No, that wouldn't be right. It's fine to have differing opinions. I just try to come at things with optimism & facts. 1 game doesn't make a season, but also an 11 game win streak vs scrubs doesn't make a season either. Let's see how the rest of the weekend goes. We can still get swept and make the CWS and we can win the Florida series and miss regionals. Lots of opportunities left.

Very uncharacteristic. Not making simple plays in the field and our best reliever walks a scrub even though he’s only walked 1 all year.

Short of missing the tournament, C_iL__Ess' apologists will do everything they can to keep him from being fired. His contract might simply expire though.

I'm surprised this isn't being talked about more on here. We are in for a rough ride through SEC play and I don't see Childress surviving at the end of the year - not based upon past performance anyway.

I mean, he is in the last year of his contract. Unless he makes a deep CWS run I can't see him being resigned.
