15 and 16 could both mash a little. That’s why is was so disappointing neither made it out of supers. Both teams were plenty good to go on a run in Omaha.

A 20 run win over Prairie View has no long term impact on the season. A loss would have though.

Any singular regular season game, especially those mid week, has no long term impact.

Wins might not have long term impact, but I’d rather win the midweek games than lose them(obviously) I’d like to roll into conference play with a lot of confidence and us swinging the bat well

A few random thoughts:
Not that was expecting it, but we went 0-3 on the first 3 rankings released this morning.
Will Frizzell's 7 HRs are good for tied in 4th in the nation. U of SC's Wes Clark leads everyone with 9 in only 14 games.
Team ERA & WHIP are down to 2.35 (11th) & 1.09 (15th). Not shocking from an RC team, but still impressive as hell.
Here is where it gets interesting. Team OBP & SLG are .413 (24th) & .464 (37th).
I still maintain these #s are inflated due to just how soft the schedule got. We'll need to prove ourselves vs a good team before any of this matters. We'll have every opportunity to in the SEC.

Frizzell is #2 in the nation in total bases with 51. 13th in BB, 12th in Hits, 23rd in runs, & 37th in RBI. All-SEC, All-American type year so far.
Let's talk strikeouts.
Chandler Jozwiak leads the nation in K-BB Ratio at 35-1!
Here are the national rankings for total strikeouts for our guys:
#5 - Jonathan Childress 36
