I imagine our DL spot might pay more so it will come down to whether he wants to coordinate again or not

The coaching staff thing is going to get interesting over the next few years. There are very few schools that will outbid an SEC school for coaches. There are seriously double digit P5 schools whose head coach is making less than Muschamp or Chavis.
And full cost of attendance is about to crush some schools

Hagen, then you have Haley coach LBs which he hasn't done in quite some time. Or you give Price DTs, Haley Des, and Chavis takes LBs.
Price, then you have Haley for DL. Simple enough, but many think price is a keeper.
McKinney, with Christensen taking over the run game that means McKinney gets demoted for the 2nd year in a row or he's on his way out. Move Banks to RB/ST. Hire a WR/TE coach. Chavis doesn't have to coach a position and Price/Haley share DL.

I wonder if we have a WR coach ready to go and are just waiting on the dust settle to set the defensive staff so everything can be announced, or we still need to make the WR coach hire

To be fair the SECRant is where other fanbases go to get away from their dumb homer boards but LSU fans don't seem to have that option

Maybe tomorrow? Something is up because even Chavis hasn't been formally introduced as DC. Maybe they want to announce the entire defensive staff change all at once?
I'm really hoping we retain Coach Price. The guy did a relatively good job recruiting and coaching the D-Line.
