Agreed. I've never understood the logic behind that rule. Fumble on one side of a line and the offense keeps the ball. Fumble on the other side and the defense gets it. Makes zero sense. What did the defense do to deserve to get the ball? Dumb rule!

It was close because the refs helped Clemson out all night.

With neutral refs, that game is 38-14 A&M.

If we score 31 on Clemson’s defense I’ll light my pubes on fire and perform celebratory pelvic thrusts from the third deck.

fricking ACC refs.

The last team to rack up 500+ yards on Clemson was back in Oct 2016 vs Heisman winner Lamar Jackson.

Kellen Mond and co were special tonight. A call here and the D not giving up a big play there and we walk away with a win easier. I will gladly admit I was completely wrong about Mond this far. He looks to have grown into a stud.

Yep, I almost mentioned that game, but was too lazy to look up the year. That was the first time I remember seeing that call. I was dumbfounded then, I'm dumbfounded now. I just fail to see any rationale in the rule.

Seems to me if neither team recovers it, possession should remain with the offensive team at the spot of the fumble, just as it does with any fumble out of bounds. Stupid rule and I'd say the same had it happened to Clemson.

Even though I love watching my Aggies play shite like tonight is why I think football is an inferior sport and just flat out unjust at times. Too many rules that get in the way of the actual game. When the refs are able to determine the outcome of a game, like tonight, something is wrong.

I have no voice and I’m angry at what could have been. The missed field goal hurt but I feel the Starkel fumble was what hurt the worst, we were going to get at least a field goal there and instead gave up 7 on the other end

Key thoughts from the game

1. Rogers reminded me of Evans, he has a secret beast mode button

2. Mond matured and grew up before our very eyes. He was a different player by games end. One that knows now he can play a big game.

3. Our defense made mistakes but IT NEVER GAVE UP

4. Our offense made some mistakes BUT IT NEVER GAVE UP

5. Clemson took their foot off the gas at two different points that really helped us, Dabo coached not to lose and I wish we could have made him pay for it

6. I haven’t watched the recoding yet but from the stands it was hard to see the bad calls I’m not sure I want to rewatch for that reason. Would only make me madder

7. Jimbo being pissed, warmed my heart and I’m sure it inspired our players AND RECRUITS

I’m pleased we didn’t get blown out. The rain was definitely a factor for both sides, but our screw ups hurt worse.

I actually left the game in a good mood because I have successfully kept myself from getting emotionally invested.

Clemson isn’t that great.

You simply cannot overstate the role of good coaching.

In a single off season:
Jimbo has turned Mond into a very good QB
Given backbone to a weak willed team
Jimbo’s refusal of slacking leads to a team that never quit.

Can you imagine what will happen when he has HIS players?

This game reminded me of 2012 Florida.

fricking Bertolet.

Very proud of how this team never gave up, even prouder to have a HC willing to fight for his team. Jumbo wasn't satisfied with last nights outcome, and that satisfies me.

Went in hoping we wouldn’t get blown out - came out pissed we lost.
