I’ll be there

At first I was down about this game, foreseeing a loss but now I’m really friggin fired up. We are basically playing with house money, no one expects us to win. GameDay pickers will all go against us. If we stay within 10 the talking heads will give us respect and the recruits will be happy.
So then why not dream a little, drink some beer before hand and spend 4 hours screaming at the field like my life depends on it? My body is now ready.

Sarge’s keys to success

1. Win the turnover battle

2. Lead in time of possession (keep the ball out of Clemson playmakers hands)

3. Score 7 instead of settling for 3 (field goals will not win this thing)

Let’s do this

Will probably be up tailgating somewhere but probably not going to the game itself.

I still think we lose but if we can keep it two scores or less, I’m ok with it and think the team can learn/build from the experience. Bonus points if it’s a one score difference in the 4th quarter at any point.

Overall I’m mainly not confident in our chances mainly because of the O-line. There were some bad blocking assignments on pass plays against NWST and Clemson has arguably one of the best D-lines in the country. Mond looked good on Thursday, but we will see how good he looks and if his decision making under pressure really has progressed this Saturday.

I will be watching the game from the comfort of my living room 3 miles away from Kyle. I don't think we win it but I'll be happy if we stay close and play fundamentally sound football.

Thanks Sarge, if I get home in time on Saturday I'll try and catch up with you for pizza or ice cream.

I will be there. South upper deck yelling my arse off. Agreed, stay within 10-14 points is a win, anything better would be great.

Will be there in the South endzone upper deck as well. Will need the crowd/defense to come out hot early like against Oklahoma in 2010, and a few turnovers to have a chance.

Will be there as well.

1. We need to slow down their offense. It's not that good. Bryant is an avg QB at best.

2. We need to win the TOP. Help the defense out and move the chains.'

3. Take care of the football. Win the TO battle.

If this stays a close low scoring game then I think we have a shot.

So you’re saying he’ll rush for 250 yards on Saturday right?
