I feel confident tonight. If he isn't announced tomorrow and plans to coach that last game I will be much more skeptical.

This is absolutely the kind of thing that never happens. Championship winning coaches do not drop a solid program for new digs at a school with an arguably much worse historical pedigree. FSU has recent NCs. We don't.

Why would we waste time and energy on trying to lure a coach here if we didn't think we could realistically get him? Is it just because we aggy?

I am not going to be mad if Fisher gets all that from FSU and we move on to someone else. I would be mad if Fisher was legit interested and we didn't pursue it because we thought "he might be using us"
If we truly don't have a backup plan that's dumb but Fisher is someone you get a no from if his agent is throwing out smoke signals

In a normal, sane world, no way he doesn't come to TAMU.
