Yeah, but it's like Ark code now. Everyone sees the thread title pop up and immediately knows it's baylol.

So what we have here is a classic mexican standoff between propriety and tradition

Sounds like Baylor took a raping in this deal...

Baylor paid former football coach Art Briles a $15.1 million settlement after dismissal during school's sexual assault scandal; Ken Starr received $4.5 million, according to school's document filing.

Say what you want about Art Briles, but the man just knows "rape". He forced the school to give him what he wants against their will.

One last "hoorah" on his way out.

Baylor University is reportedly expecting to avoid severe punishment from the NCAA after the governing body of college athletics completes its investigation into the school's sexual-assault scandal.

On Wednesday, Mac Engel of the Star-Telegram reported Baylor officials are expecting the interview process to finish this year with a final resolution in the case by spring of 2019.

"If people are expecting some sort of 'Death Penalty,' I think they are going to be disappointed," a Baylor athletic official told Engel.

quote:

"We were horrified by the extent of these acts of sexual violence on our campus," Board of Regents chair Richard Willis said. "This investigation revealed the university's mishandling of reports in what should have been a supportive, responsive and caring environment for students. The depth to which these acts occurred shocked and outraged us."

The question for Baylor is whether the NCAA is able to identify whether any specific violations occurred and their severity, per Engel. He noted it's possible the football program won't face any penalty if it's determined the sexual-assault scandal was a "university issue."

WTF is a university issue? NCAA is a joke. Fu%k the rapists

They lost to an online school last year. That's not enough of a punishment, but it's a punishment nonetheless.

frick Baylor.

A wording excuse to avoid the severity of penalty warranted.

They just opened the door for Penn State to sue them for inconsistent application of penalties.

Makes you really think that the NCAA’s problem is never really doing something bad, it’s programs that did something bad and then didn’t want to apologize for it.

Look at their history of recent big punishments- Miami, Ole Miss, Penn st or even SMU. All broke the rules and then wanted to stubbornly hold onto some piece of what they had from the era when the bad thing happened.

Seems like if you fire everyone involved and give up the advantage the bad thing gave you the NCAA moves on. Hence how North Carolina basically undermined the entire lie about college sports for a decade and will get off scot free- because they never pretended like they deserved to do it.

Baylor being put at 13 is hilarious. They are being told they have absolutely no chance of getting in even if they go undefeated
