I understand that youngsters here don't have the same hatred of Texas Tech as old timers (only possible explanation is you're all dumbasses), but this... this right here makes my day.

I fricking hate Tech. And it's not even "rivalry" hate, it's just flat out HATE. This is the type of hate that can't be described, but has to be felt in order to understand. Those idiots are classless assholes who only went to Tech because they couldn't get into A&M/UT and daddy wasn't rich enough to get them into SMU/TCU/Baylor. And in their little minds, they blame Aggy for their shortcomings.
After the 9/11 memorial got built on the corner of Coke and Lubbock, some tech fans started ripping up the new sod during gameday and threw it on the sidewalk. I have never come so close as to sucker punching another human being as that day. And it wasn't just that year, it was every year they visited where they felt it was ok to damage our property in some form or fashion. And every year we visited Lubbock, they felt it was within their right to throw things at our players/staff.
I'm glad they were left behind in the Big12 and have no other conference to go to. I hope we never play them ever again since the A&M game is all they lived for. Schedule Texas. Schedule Baylor. Hell! Even schedule TCU! But Tech?? Hell no. Keep them the frick away from us.

Finest tells the truth about our ‘77 sojourn to the base of the Panhandle. One additional item about the “Aggies suck” that we encountered everywhere we went is that one of those ejaculations, in a public restaurant, came from a woman who was in the 80-85 year-old range. Not exaggerating. She was straight-up serious, fire in her eyes, the real deal.

This post is full on truth. Only two places have I seen full on fist fights when Aggies visit is Lubbock and Austin. Will never go to either one again voluntarily
