Saban just said he didn’t tell Lane to go to LSU?

“ you have everything you want why would you leave?”
I was told with extreme confidence that saving pushed lane to leave by this board

That’s not what he said.
It sounded like he made an argument for both sides.

Saban knew he would implode much quicker in Loserana.

Lane can never just own his decisions

I mean he does want to make it out of Oxford today. They have a history up harming outsiders and getting away with it.

There's truth to this.
Nick Saban did his part to afflict LSU with Lane Kiffin. The fanbase genuinely believes he did this out of some sort of lost or misplaced affection.
What they'll likely discover is the opposite. They have Lane Kiffin now because Saban hates them.

Lane said he tried to please everyone in the transition to LSU and that was a mistake.
Sounds like he’s owned it pretty well.

My man you can’t reason with the runts. They are all broken at this point

That's the way I understood it. But it's the 2nd part we've never heard before.
"Why can't you win where you are?"

He would make a great politician.

Imagine being broken by a soulless, money hungry heaux who didn’t have anything to do with their success anyway.
Land sharts continue to dunk on themselves.

LOL. Way to take 5 seconds of a 60 second long statement and make it your main point.

He's a liar, and everyone knows he's a liar. With the possible exception of FAU. Every job he's had, he's left messy or unprofessionally. Ole Miss was no different.
If any LSU coach left for Alabama under the exact circumstances Lane kiffin left Ole Miss. The administration, TAF and the entire fanbase would melt harder than Chernobyl.
Lane Kiffin pleased himself and in doing so, incidentally pleased all of you.
You don’t have to worry about Kiffin leaving LSU. What you have to worry about is the hand grenade he rolls into your football ops building when he does leave.

Saban said:
- Where do you think you can win?
- Where do you think you fit?
- And why can’t you win where you’re at now? You have a great quarterback and you’re in the playoffs.
Lane’s responses:
- Ed Frickin O won a natty at LSU Nick
- There’s a tiger trapped in this body
- I can build a great playoff team at Ole Miss, but there will always be a 2019 LSU, 2020 Bama, or 2025 Indiana that will send us home. I want every inch of advantage I can get.
Lane decided he was leaving when he declined to sign the contract extension. The only question was where. Florida was leading at that point. Him leaving was more about Ole Miss than LSU.
