I guess in keeping with this melt, LSU fans lost their shite when Saban took the Alabama job for one reason and one reason only: we knew firsthand what Saban was about to do in Tuscaloosa. And he did it.
We would’ve been thrilled had say Hallman or DiNardo gone to Bama.
So all you’ve done is illustrate a critical consideration: yall are losing your shite because Lane told you weren’t good enough, and you know what he is about to do at LSU, not that he’s about to crash and burn.
You don’t know your own history, or the circumstances of Saban's departure from LSU. I legit chuckle at the mental gyrations you folks go through to compare Saban's departure from LSU to Kiffin's departure from Ole Miss.
Oh and also. I don't pull for Ole Miss.

For me, the jury is still out on Lane. I am waiting to see what $93 million buys.
We will know soon enough.
But for now, CLK is ours and I support him!

It’s not about the circumstances ….. It is about the feeling of loss and betrayal. No gymnastics there.

That’s Jimmy Sexton having him back off, by the way

Nothing these LSU tards tell themselves is true.

Lane never said he was told to go to LSU. But Saban made a case. Saban doesn’t strike me as the type to tell someone to take a job or not.
