That was the biggest game in their program’s history. Our coach built their team so strong that they’re still having residual success. They played the best game possible, still almost lost and are now experiencing the effects of the hangover. LSU easily shook off the close loss and is back to winning because we are used to winning.

It was Old Miss’ Super Bowl. They’ll finish 7-5 while LSU goes to the playoff.
But in 2070 some 80-year old Ole Miss fans will still talk about when they beat Lane in his return just like they cherish their SEC West co-championship.
