Texas was the better team today. The calls/ reviews/ flags, whatever, didn't decide the outcome of the game today. It decided the direction, but not the outcome. Texas played better down the stretch. We missed field goals, missed coverage, etc.
Still, I wish some of you weren't such pr$#ks.

Correct. Texas should’ve went into halftime up 13-10 (maybe 17-10)but the refs decided to pretend there wasn’t a fumble.

Momentum is HUGE psychologically. And the refs stole that from you. Listen, I don't like either of these teams. But to say that refs didn't dictate the outcome, is just false

You are on a message board that is filled with users that might have attended the school, while some are alters to just stir the pot, while some are just complete assholes..
Either way, some of each of those groups plus some others I didn’t identify are gonna be assholes.. because they just want to see the reaction. The sooner you learn that… the better off you’ll be..
That being said, I thought you guys had a solid game plan, especially in the beginning.. I think most champ figured out some things to curtail it, but I think you guys have a good football team.
Good game

Refs used to dictate momentum in favor of Alabama a LOT during Saban’s run.
Funny that now you notice it

The BS 12 yard fumble call changed the rest of the game. It changed not just momentum, but every play call on offense and defense for both teams. That's why implementing replay was so important. Now we still have BS ref calls even when they can review and watch slow motion replay.

Was thinking the same thing. The Gumps have all of a sudden become hyper focused on refs

I can accept a loss. Just the way it occurred. Refs shouldn’t be that involved in the game or outcome.
