I think home depot owns, or atleast the exclusive distributing rights to ryobi. Saban uses milwaukee at the house when cameras aren't on

If we’re being honest, Ms Terry has the tool belt in that household.

Ryobi has served me and all my weekend worrier projects just fine. Can’t beat those fathers day sales either.

I have Makita, Dewalt, Milwaukee and Ryobi and there ain’t a noticeable difference in any of them. I use Ryobi at the sawmill because they’re cheap and if a 1 ton log rolls over them they crack just like the others. The same is true if you drop one 20 feet, they all bounce the same, the ugly green one costs half as much to replace.

If you use tools infrequently just pick the cheapest of the non Black and Decker.

When the battery dies give it away and buy the cheapest again

Ryobi is fine for that.

He has screwed a lot of people but not with a screwdriver. Just like his boat probably doesn’t even know how to turn it on

This guy knows stuff. No one was buying black and decker pro so the dusted off the DeWalt name which B&D owned and rebranded the tools.

Dewalt is legit for the Pro user

Ryobi is legit for the home user.

.

If you really want to spend too much money for certain. I’ve sold just about all my Festool stuff, not because it ain’t great but because people will pay more for it used than it cost me new. I sold a 10 year festool track saw just a few months ago for $1200 LOL. I paid about $700 for it and it had been used a BUNCH. Nothing wrong with it but I have a $300 WEN that’ll break down a sheet of plywood just as good. It probably won’t last but 20 years or so….

I’d say the the odds are about the same that he uses Ryobi (or any tool for that matter) and that he has a kitchen full of contractor grade appliances.
