It’s up there with “we’re the villains of college football. Proceeds to lose two weeks later to the program your coach left to “win championships””

Peaking in the second week of the season has to be the fricking worst.

Almost as bad as a beloved coach leaving for a better program that also happens to be a hated rival.

This shite is too easy

It's becoming obvious that this was much more than a football game to ol miss. That game was going to determine if their football program would still be around in 5 years. Literal life and death

Well they only play a guaranteed 12 or so games a year. So theyre all pretty important. Are you implying that ole miss, a cfp finalist the previous year was just viewed like mcneese state and yall didnt get up for them? I heard kiffins clemson halftime speech and know how pissed he was at them. You're delusional if you act like there was anything he left on the table to win that game. You lost. Theyre pretty good. Suck it up

Recent evidence has brought this into question

Hahahah, ole Miss never trailed in that game. It took a lacy injury and conservative play calling to get lsu back in the game. And I'm pretty sure there is video of whit weeks in tears talking about how badly he wanted that game. But yes, ole Miss only won because they cared more.

It's apparent that Ole Miss isn't as good as folks thought, and teams that lost to them are even worse.

Idk. Hopefully. We show flashes from time to time. Certainly doesnt appear it will be this year. Now that we've randomly addressed that. Why didnt yall take ole miss serious while they took it super serious?
