Alabama comes out looking absolutely terrible most of the time these days. Doesn't speak well for the program culture.

Hmmm 42 years ago, my pregnant wife and I sat in the stands at Legion Field in Birmingham for the LSU-Bama game during a tornado warning and lightning striking everywere. Maybe some official should have come up the stands to come rescue us for our bad choice. We have become a world full of pussies.
Every safety rule is bathed in blood, especially regarding lightning.
We don’t frick around with this shite for a good reason. Anecdotes aside what the frick ever lol. “I never got struck” is not that same as “no one gets struck.”

It’s pretty obvious to anyone with a half a brain, he’s not the answer. What next? He should be fired win or lose. His teams never look prepared

Well now I feel much better knowing that there are lightning safety cops out there looking after our asses. Especially from a thundershower from 10 miles away.

Better safe than sorry imho. Delay it till midnight.

A great start would be firing Ryan Grub. But alas, Ryan and Kalen are pals.

That would be a great halftime/lightning delay adjustment—fire Grubbs.

Lightning is known to jump that far lol. A guy was killed east of Birmingham earlier this year from a bolt out of the blue.

Ah ... now were using idioms to describe lightning safety. Thanks for the warning, Boogar.
