As a Bama fan, I don't want anything to do with the useless SECCG. It can only hurt the team.

Looking like Alabama is going to get rest while UGA and Tennessee are going to beat each other up before entering the playoffs.

Alabama is a good team. It's easy to clown on us for the losses to rivals the week after, but both teams are physical and resilient, as cliche as those football terms may be. We are not perfect, but neither is the field.

I think Texas has to lose another game? Hard to find a scenario where Alabama avoids (ideal for both of us, in all honesty) that doesn't involve Tennessee winning out and Texas picking up at least 1 more loss

Why would any team in the playoffs want to play the SEC title game? No real reward any more other than bragging rights. College football has killed that game.

Normally I would say frig the SECCG. For all the reasons everyone knows. Playoffs, etc.
But with it being the last one, it would be great to win it. So forever UT would be 'the last legitimate SEC champ', heheh.

If you had the choice between winning a conf championship vs not winning one along with an early cfp exit which would you choose? Id take the conf title every time.

In a season when its attendees may be decided on a 4+ team tie scenario, I'm not sure it "legitimizes" anything. That said, it would still be a nice last title for anyone to own.

No, you aren’t. We aren’t beating LSU and there is a chance we lose on the road at A&M. The offense is too inconsistent
