I'm not so sure. Perkins is still waiting to see who LSU hires, and could end up there. Evan Stewart could end up in Austin after all, and Denver Harris could also go to LSU or UTa. Shemar Stewart seems possible. I was hoping Kelvin Banks would trend to A&M but he skipped going to College Station, and then did go to Austin, and that would be a shame if they land him. Banks could potentially start at LT next year at A&M.
Still more than happy to have such a highly ranked class that is also well balanced and is likely to setup well for future success.

Wiltfong tends to exaggerate things to spice up his articles. Can't talk about Bama/Georgia every year. Those recruits that are leaning/committed towards A&M? Well there's a longg way to go until signing day and plenty of time for them to change their mind. I don't see A&M out recruiting the big boys (georgia, bama) down the stretch for 5*s.
#3... I could see.

Denver Harris is a heavy Alabama lean.

I knew that. But now Domani Jackson decommitted from USC and is supposedly trending to Bama.
Would two of the top 3 corners go to Bama? I guess it's possible.
But if Bama pushes for Jackson and gets him, either they know they're not getting Denver Harris, or Denver Harris makes a reactionary move away from Bama and into the waiting arms of LSU or UTa (with A&M still a possibility, though he hasn't shown much interest) both of whom can probably sell early playing time, and LSU has the position coach he likes (unless the new coach doesn't keep him).

I'd gladly take that considering it would still be numerically one of the top if not THE top class A&M has assembled. And also, so long as it's not fool's gold a la tu's 2019 class; meaning, it must fill out the position-wise needs and amount to big setup 2 years down the road... which means gotta close on one top notch OT (left tackle, please), and maybe a top notch LB, everyone else still on the big board is gravy.

No.

There is a really good chance UA ends up with Jackson, Harris and Earl Little. Little is choached by Pat Surtain Sr

Little is being recruited at STAR and Fegans is going to be a Safety. Jackson and Harris would be the 2 corners in this class.

Say it with me.
NORTH SHORE.
A&M hasn't had a North Shore player signed that made it to fall camp since Eric Crutchfield...21 years ago.

Oh yeah, Bama has him locked up.

I think there’s always confidence on an in State kid, but he was committed to Florida. And he did leave the state briefly for high school. So it seems he might want to leave home.

What is the deal with that anyway? Do the coaches actively steer kids away?

Shadrach Banks made it to fall camp for a few days but was too fat, refused to switch positions from receiver to linebacker, and apparently had a terrible attitude.
Now he is at TCU, is still fat, and switched over to linebacker.

No, Banks early enrolled and transferred mid way through spring ball.

I’m a firm believer in following the visits, so it’s not looking good for James in my opinion. Alabama desperately needs to hang onto Woodyard, and I’m not sure if that’s going to happen either.

James is now not visiting Ga today. If woodyards family want to talk the kid into going to a team that hasn't produced a top NFL linebacker in years, so be it. He can easily be replaced.

Well that’s awesome. I know the insiders for Bama are confident, so that’s definitely good news
