Here's where it gets complicated.
The 2018 class had one early enrollment out of 23 signed players. That allowed 1 to be back-counted to the 2017 class leaving 22.
The 2019 class had 8 early enrollments and 1 grayshirt out of 27 signed players. 3 of the 8 early enrollments could be back-counted from that, leaving 23.
The 2020 class had 13 early enrollments plus 1 grayshirt out of 26 signed players. 2 of the early enrollments could be back-counted towards 2019 but since Kenneth Phillips was medically retired before arriving in 2021, the grayshirt came off the board, that left 23.
The 2021 class had 10 early enrollments out of 23 signees plus 1 transfer. 2 of the early enrollments counted back towards 2020, leaving 22.
The 2022 class so far has 10 early enrollments out of 27 signees. 3 can be back counted towards 2021 with Groves-Killebrew likely grayshirting because of his ACL injury. That means we can sign 2 more without the transfer rules. If you factor in the transfer rules, it gets REALLY strange.
Without transfer rules affecting it, A&M can sign 29. WITH transfer rules, A&M can sign 32.

Maybe, could also be a '23 guy as the 3 main targets have all said they are waiting until January or longer.
BTW, the thing I love most about this A&M class is it is exceptionally balanced. Every position group is addressed and addressed in impressive fashion.

Not every position group. A&M whiffed on every elite offensive tackle prospect. Williams is great, but not elite, and Erb is still very raw.

I am not the one posting for validation so not sure why I would have a tough time. Has the a&m program done something to cause concern for UA who I support? If you think finishing 5th in the division should have me worried so be it if it makes you feel better.
In all honestly I find aggie posters right now entertaining. You have created more threads and posted more comments on the SEC recruiting board than you have on your own board. Again seeking validation for your program. Hell you guys are creating threads about recruiting and talking among yourselves just to bump the thread for others to see.
Yes everyone can agree it is a great class. But until those recruits can get developed and actually win at least their own division it has very little value to what happens on the field. Assumptions are great at what they may be able to do but in the end still an assumption and nothing more.

Aggie fans just signed their best ever class and possibly one of the best since rankings have come out but yet why are so many of you so insecure and defensive with anyone that will not grant the validation you are seeking about your program?
