Worst class in the SEC? Is it a dumpster fire?

I mean...some were asking the same about LSU recruiting 2-3 weeks ago. It can change quickly.

LSU had several leans though at that time, they just had not announced and that left some nervousness for LSU fans with recruiting but I hardly seen any big time recruits leaning towards Auburn.

The only 2 I knew of were DJ Chester and Khai prean, but now they are expected to commit to LSU.

Time will tell; I get the feeling that Harsin is done at the end of the year.

Yes it will, when they fire Harsin in November.

Harsin is doomed. Everyone, including recruits and their parents, know this.

Auburn will be in a holding pattern until he is officially gone and then they can start to rebuild.

Actually nobody was asking that slapdick, pay attention if you’re going to talk shite. It was A&M everybody was questioning and they had like four guys commit.

Auburn has no one to blame but themselves for horrible recruiting. How is a head coach supposed to convince top players to come, when every rich booster they had tried to get him fired.

Is it that bad? They do not have many committed but the ones they do have are all 4 stars, and their per star average is up in the top 10 or so. I have no idea what is in the pipeline however and where they will end up.

Look at the staff Harsin has assembled Kiesau, Brad Bedell, Jeff Schmedding, Will Friend, Roc Bellantoni, Jimmy Brumbaugh, Christian Robinson, etc. Caddy is an alright recruiter and Ike Hilliard has never recruited before. Zac Etheridge is the only coach who could go to a top school if he wanted.

While the boosters messed some stuff up let’s not act like Harsin was killing it on the trail or on the field last year. He’s in over his head in terms of big boy recruiting and absolutely cannot close against any team with a pulse for a recruit.

I see i got some down votes. My response was not a swipe at LSU. It was merely pointing out that when we form opinions prematurely, how wrong they can turn out to be.

People were saying Brian Kelly could not recruit, and laughing about LSU recruiting...but it was early. It's still early. I am simply saying people should wait until ESD is over before forming opinions. If Auburn is still at #13 or #14 it wil be time to panic. I suspect they will end up around the #12-#15 area like they usually do.

Crap dude. I never start a troll and usually do not add to a troll unless somebody takes a swipe at my team. Calm down. What I said was true. People (and it was more than A&M fans) were questioning LSU recruiting and recruiting does change quickly as evidenced by what happened with LSU's class.

Show me where I was wrong.

Harsin is as lame duck as it gets. His own boosters have torpedoed him and recruits aren’t going to commit to a coach they know won’t be there.

We can say commit to the school not the coach all we want, but it absolutely matters to recruits and unfortunately for Harsin his days are numbered no matter what he does. Auburn’s boosters really need to be put in check.

With the wide open portal + unregulated NIL it's easier than ever for a staff to build a program. There's still plenty of time for Auburn NIL pony up.

He’s too busy trying to flex on Twitter when he gets a guy to flip from Nebraska.

- Harsin + staff aren’t good recruiters
- off season coup situation
- NIL at Auburn isn’t organized (likely related to point 2 as well)

It’s not going to work out. If you had 2 of the 3 above items in a better place, then Harsin would have a chance, alas that’s not the case.
