He should be all conference in 2022.

We likely 4 OL exiting (3 left, 1 expecting to leave) we have a major need at tackle. We should be fine at one of the tackle spots with Green. Robinson might even be an upgrade at a guard spot. Matthews should be fine at C.

The second guard and tackle spot are the question marks. Morris can fill one and basically prevent a major hole from forming in the previously strong unit

Dallas ain’t far from College Station. But maybe he’s transferring to SMU or TCU.

Edit: probably a connecting flight to A&M

If you get him, you'll have to work out a lot of Tennessee training. They had almost all 5* Oline and looked bad. Really bad.

After seeing what he did to all those 5* I was shocked that SCarolina wanted him, then Auburn came in and swept him up from them. I don't get it.

In the second part of my post I was referring to Will Friend. I just saw I did not mention him by name.

He was a freshman all American in 2019. I think we’ll coach him up.

I guess it was the end of the road in Knoxville, but I'm sure it will be so hard to say goodbye.

Isn't Norman closer to Dallas than College Station?

Based on what? He was really underwhelming. Will Friend might have ruined him.

He got abused that season (as did Darnell Wright the other freshman 5 star OT). He started out of necessity for a really bad oline. He came on the last few games of his freshman season and was decent.

But he kept getting benched for Jahmir Johnson who is a 260lb JUCO.

Watch him this pasts season. Did he look like an All-Anything to you?

Hey, like I said. maybe you can get the UT out of him. He needs some help for sure.

In my above post, I was referencing Will Friend when I was posting about SCarolina and Auburn. I was thinking him, then forgot to put his name in the post.

Friend can recruit but his coaching leaves MUCH to be desired....at least it did when he was at Georgia, and from the looks of what he did at Tennessee it has not gotten better. If A&M (or whoever gets Morris) has a good Oline coach, then yes. The talent is there. It will be a matter of working out the bad habits and getting him back to where he needs to be.

This is what I was referring to. It was my opinion, too.

two injuries and two separate stints in contact tracing will probably throw a wrench into some things

Not to sidetrack the topic, but our new TE coach (Brad Bedell) was the OL coach at Boise. It's been inferred that Friend will recruit the OL & TE, while Bedell coaches the positions...at least that's what we're telling ourselves

He doesn't have his hand out to the best of my knowledge. But he does meddle with Wanya and other Grayson kids in terms of their college careers. He ran their recruitments and made certain demands of coaching staffs to the point that many schools quit recruiting them.
