Those coaches choosing to play Finley (or not being able to bring in/keep more talented options) had something to do with them being fired. Symptom of a bigger problem in both cases, of course.
TJ himself might be a sympathetic figure in all of this without some of his social media postings and quotes, alas…

Like so many guys drafted to the NFL. Happens every year people fall in love with the physical but at QB that's only half of it. The rest is between the ears.

How much difference is there between TJ Finley and Anthony Richardson….?

Well, yeah. But you wanted to know who he was talking about.....
I mean, it could be argued that any coach that insisted on throwing Finley out there time after time did it on their own. Typically when a coach gets fired there are a lot of reasons, though. Some open and apparent and some hidden in the background.
