He isn't a very good field coach but he's one hell of a recruiter. Definitely one of the best. You guys recruited on an elite level already, but I knew it wouldn't take long for him to become a fan favorite.

Aggies don't like Dameyune:

Somebody explain his respect factor. He barely played a down for the Carolina Panthers, was a backup in college, then got his chance for 2 yrs and threw for a shite ton of yards against Fresno St in a crap bowl game, next yr got beat by a Peyton when it mattered, went to NFL Europa where my grandmother could throw for 60 million yds, and he is a stud somehow? Please. He just has a really good bagboy and happens to be smart enough to follow Saban around like a loyal bastard hound. And sadly, he still is better than Moorehead by far. Wank.

He's a helluva recruiter. Maybe you guys will have better luck with him developing that elite talent.

It's like we showed up to the auburn dealership with a beat up 98 Volvo that used to break down on the second half of road trips.
They offered us cash and a brand new Jag.

USCe was shopping at the same time and took the other nice car on the lot.

It is one thing to do well recruiting in state guys such as Dupre, T. Johnson, etc. that is always expected regardless. But with Craig pulling elite receivers from out of State, Now that makes a difference.

So how many wide receivers will LSU be taking this year?

3 is the number, most thought 2 but they are thinking of Guidry different I think since he's a juco.

The only guy left they'd take a commit from is Devonta Smith at this point unless we lost a guy then McMath is in the conversation again. Kinda feel bad for McMath honestly...dude gets the offer he wanted a few weeks ago and now probably doesn't have a spot.

He should've locked down his spot if he really wanted to go to LSU.

He probably had no idea we'd get back to back commits at WR like this so early on.

Whoever said this needs to actually see Craig coach and interact with his players. When I saw him this Spring with the players.. I immediately noticed why they love this guy.

Nah, was trying to keep it short. I often type way too much.

It's just he seemed very active and charismatic. When he is coaching, he tells what is needed, very informative to the point, doesn't sugar coat it and even leads by example. But then when he isn't instructing and hanging out he seems like a lot of fun to be around. The players seem to enjoy his personality and demeanor.

I am just basing this off of a few spring practices I saw though.

Ausbon pretty much confirmed some of the things I noticed. That they trust him.

The worst part is that they think those things matter when he's recruiting kids...I'm sure it matters very little tbh. Just because you played a high level doesn't mean you can relate to kids and communicate effectively.

ETA: They also think winning a single game will dictate a recruiting outcome, so I don't think there's much credibility over there.
