Since you’re so confident, will you ban yourself if we pull a few top positions of need out the portal this cycle?
Welp, a deal’s a deal, and I’m happy I was wrong. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years. If God says the same, I’ll be back August 30th. :geauxtigers:
I thought Dabo was against the transfer portal?

BK can’t compete with Kiffin”.

I'm not saying that. I'd like to see what BK could do with a full starting lineup of legit SEC caliber starters. He hasn't had that yet and nobody can make me believe that OM has more money and resources than LSU. I'd like to see LSU go all out in the portal for once and see if BK can bring home another championship.

What he's setup for now is just middle of the pack SEC. Good, but short of championship caliber good.

You'll downvoted to hell, but it's true. I see nothing different from years past. Bk is not building a team to compete for a national title. He's building a team with a ceiling of 9-3. 4 commits and not 1 of them is ranked even top 5 at their position on 247 or on3.
Are any of them even ranked in the top 5 at their position on 247 or on3? I'm not saying they're not good. They're just not what you need to compete for championships. They're good for 9-3/8-4. I'm going to get down voted into oblivion and I don't care. They're landing the same caliber of players that have been since BK been here.

Bauer sharp=Connor gilbreath
Jakeem jackson- jaire brown, JK Johnson, Seven Banks
Jimari butler =Ovie Oghoufo
Barion Brown = Zavion Thomas

Gonna have to win a bidding war to land this kid.
He's not in the bargain bin, so it's very unlikely that we'd even make his top 2. Just look at who they're landing. This is the same approach BK has taken in the portal every year he's been here. Bargain bin af. They aren't getting guys ranked even top 5 at their position.

They better get a starting safety in here. Not a former starter who lost his job to someone better than him. Or a guy who's coming off of a season ending injury. That kind of shite just isn't going to cut it

 The plan is Poyser
I think Poyser is better, but it don't matter if we can't land him.

Did he bring up that bullshite call? You know the one
Yeah, he said that it was the best game of his collegiate career. He completely blanketed Julio that day.

It’s a good listen if you have the time. It’s around 80 minutes long. Of course, he talks about LSU. Talks a good bit about Tyrann also.
They didn't announce the individual names last year. They waited to announce them all together. I'm not sure why, but that's what was done and I'd imagine it's the same way it's going to be done this year as well.
I remember when guys stuck around long enough for us to learn their fn numbers. I used to know damn near every player by their numbers alone. Now they haul arse if they sit the bench for a year. Should not be able to portal as many times they want.

They should get 1 freebie and that’s it. Unless there’s extenuating circumstances like coaches leaving. Other than that, they should have to honor their commitment.

UF fans say he’s not good and was burnt toast the 2 games he started this season
I don't care what their fans think. I have been critical of CR in the past, but there's one thing that I would never question Corey Raymond about, and that's his eye for good corners. If CR wants him then so do i.
We’re going to build our roster from highschool players and retention of our current roster. lol

Plus we would not have made the playoffs anyway. They would have said we lost three conference games and played no one ooc.

100% That USC loss didn't cost us anything. If you take of business in conference play. The early season ooc loss doesn't matter.

However, Brian Kelly needs to prove that he can get his team up and ready to play against a high quality opponent with the whole spring and fall camps to prepare.
I don't agree or particularly even understand some of y'all. I'd rather lose an opener than tuck our tails between our legs and run to try and get out of a game, because our headcoach can't prepare his team properly. We're the Fighting Tigers and it's time our fans act like it.

LSU@Clemson is a big deal on a national scale. No one gaf if we beat Western Kentucky by 2 touchdowns.

I don’t get pleasure out of it and I’m not not against getting top players but, whatever. I’ll play. If we pull one top guy at his position on either247 or on3, I won’t post again until next football season.

Some of you are miserable
Im not miserable at all. I’m just basing it off of what I’ve observed from BK so far. Go ahead and pump that sunshine and every one of you mfrs can downvote me. Idgaf. Y’all know it too, but are in denial.

I thought BK could build a championship team here. I truly did, but from how he’s handled his first 3 years, it ain’t happening and I’m not going to continue to blow stoke up my own arse like most of you are doing.
Don’t expect them to get the absolute best prospects out of the portal. They’ll hit the bargain bin as usual. If it’s the very best guy available at his position, we won’t get him unless said prospect is originally from Louisiana or one of his former coaches are on staff.

Maybe they could get a top quarterback with the pitch of having developed JD5 if Nuss does leave. Other than that, I’m not optimistic. They talked shite about going hard after DT’s in the portal last year and guess what, the price was too much. That’s why the majority of the best enter the portal to begin with.

Don’t get your hopes up.
