On3 has him as the #5 overall Edge player in the transfer portal

Is ole miss going to spend $20 million this year?

Damn poor Kentucky. They’ve been trying to get this guy for 3 years.

I love Lane. Even if he gets Nolen. I have been following him on Twitter and he’s a national treasure.
This troll job is awesome.

It's a good pull. He's not elite but some where between good and very good depending on the weekend.

Pearce I'd have cried over. Baron I just wonder how much they paid. I think we would've matched a reasonable offer but I don't think they made a reasonable offer.

We probably offered him around asking price but we also have the Florida edge rusher and allegedly have Nolen wrapped up as well. He could have wanted to join them

They paid him a reasonable amount last year when he did this. He just can’t be pleased. He’s not gonna make it in the NFL so might as well get as much as he can now.

I think OM is prepping for a great next season. I don't think you all have the booster system to do this every year like UGA or BAMA but I think you had enough pieces in place for Lane to pitch your boosters on going all in for next season. Someone's def. stepped up.
I think we went heavy on TE but we were literally down to one guy with no experience with 2 super seniors leaving.

Take away the Austin Peay game and UTSA games and his stats look bad.

He is a good one! I know y’all got McDonald as well. He will be a solid contributor to the secondary! He isn’t Ronnie Lott but he is a good not great player

Not an all American, but certainly a rotational SEC caliber guy

Yes. He didn’t seem to gel with Rodney Garner. He was also pissed at the idea of sliding to the other edge position to allow James Pearce on the field.

He had 6 sacks last year. Let’s take. Look at them sacks.
Virginia- 2
Austin Peay- 1
UTSA- 1
aTm- 1
Vandy-1
Last 8 games he had 2 sacks, aTm 1, and Vandy 1. While he did start, his production isn’t going to be missed. James Pearce is better than he is and we have multiple edge rushers that can get that same type of production.
He got his feelings hurt when we wouldn’t meet his NIL demands. He is serviceable and replaceable. Its not like it’s Pearce that left!!!

He’s great when playing teams like Virgina, Austin Peay, UTSA, Vandy.
Last 6 games- Bama, UK, Mizzou, UConn, UGA. 1 sack against Vandy,
First 6 games- Virginia, Austin, UF, UTSA, USCjr, aTm. 5 sacks.
Not hard to see why UT didn’t match his NIL request.
Pearce would be doubled team continuously, and Baron would be 1 on 1 and couldn’t beat it majority of the time. Last 2 years he has entered the portal or threatened to enter the portal. This year the Vols wasn’t willing to risk a younger guys development that could do at least what he was doing for another year of Baron.
Jonthan Jospeh- jr next year
Caleb Herring- soph next year
Tyre West- jr next year
Jordan Ross- Fr next year
We are more than good without Baron. He wasn’t a difference maker like Pearce is.
