Concerned about Fromm keeping him on the bench for 2 years and has a great relationship with Jimbo. Our current 3-star QB commit started looking around today after talking to Jimbo.

He might visit but distance from home was the biggest reason he decommitted from PSU in the first place. Dawg.

If he didn't want to play for Fisher at FSU why the hell would he want to play for him at A&M? Much further away from home.

Rumors are just rumors, but I thought I read that he loved Dameyune Craig who recruited him to FSU, but was worried he wouldn't be retained since we wasn't an on-field coach.
We hired him as a WR/QB coach, likely the only reason he'd be willing to visit.

As long as we’ve got Gunnell in 2019 we good. Zero chance we get him but just getting him to visit would be pretty impressive this late in the game. I think we end up signing a lower ranked QB like Matt Baldwin which would be fine

Do we need another QB? We have 3 on campus now and a great one in 2019. I would be more interested in taking a JUCO and 5th year SR to come in a be a potential back up in case there are injuries or transfers.

Interesting to note that Fisher never recruited Mond. FSU never offered or did he visit. This despite the fact he spent his whole last year almost down the road at IMG Academy (obviously not literally a skip away, but he wasn't exactly far).
Speaks volumes.
