Take the Elite camp out in Oregon; which is all about accuracy. He put up the best accuracy numbers EVER in the camp. 16Td's, 0 Int's, and he was 72%. That's just bada$$.

Take Jake Fromm who played college football...

63% passing, 21TDs, 5int.

That's more impressive IMO.

I think Fields is going to be awesome, but he also could use a redshirt. The amount of Heisman winning QBs, and Dual Threat QBs who haven't started right away is pretty astonishing. I think Fromm could also go pro after his Jr. year and not feel bad about it knowing Fields would be there to start as a Sophomore.

His sister's an athlete at UGA, his family is all Dawg, and he's a solid commit.

First its not common knowledge ,as KS would never show that hand. It is somewhat speculation. As is somewhat that they want some separation in years between the 2; which I think is ridiculous.

Whatever, most of us expect him to play some next year and not sit like you said.

Passing wise, Fromm throws the underneath and outs fairly well; but Fields is just as good at that. But on down field throws , there is no comparison Fields is heads and shoulders better. Kid has a laser for an arm and is off the chart accurate.

He's not off the charts accurate in games. He's above average and has a cannon for an arm but he's not more accurate than Fromm was in high school.

quote:

People keep saying he's dual threat; but in his own admission it's not in the typical way. He is a pocket passer with outstanding speed, elusiveness and power.

He's dual threat. He wants to be a pocket passer but his legs make him a dual threat and the common census is that he will run the RPO at UGA.

Yeah, that's great. Let's seem him do that with pads on and a pass rush.

Neither of these offenses make much sense for Fields realistically

Someone hasn’t watched much of UGA’s offense this year.

We will adapt our playcalling for Fields easily. Just look at the difference between our playbook with Eason and Fromm, totally different.

I know y'all didn't have much to watch when Moo State had he ball, when you were in Athens this year, but didn't you at least pay attention when our Offense did all the exciting stuff?

Have heard that he left OV at Georgia this weekend early and drove down to Gainesville after Emory Jones left UF. Jones tried to commit to Mullen, but was told no. Fields came down and Mullen sealed the deal.

Huge get for the gators and an epic loss for Georgia. Heisman winner at Florida IMO.

Or any offense. Field’s skill set translates to any offense. But because he’s fast, ole quicksilver thinks he should be in a read option type system.

This is either sarcasm or the dumbest post ever.

I read it as poking at the dude who said he wasn't a fit for either offense... Not that FIELDS thinks he's Mike Vick... Could be wrong though.

Fields wants to be a pro style QB.

I actually had Emory Jones in mind when I made that post for some reason. I don't know much about Fields. Disregard post.

Sounding out there like he is 100% Georgia, but that some of these new coaches think getting a visit and announcing their interest in him is some show of effort and gravitas?

It certainly seems like a strange premise, but based on the reactions from other schools fan bases, it does seem to have been received that way.
