From what I have heard from my UM sources, this is likely a UGA-Aggie battle.
DJ Durkin reached out, but Smith said he wanted to stay in the south.

Hmmm, a 247 analyst is now saying he has gotten word that there is a strong chance that Smith is going to be picked up by another southern team that as of now isn't even being discussed in regards to Smith.
This one could get interesting, guys.

It's probably FSU and he has already said he's not considering them at all. He doesn't like how they do things. They called right after they found out.

Anyway, I'd love to land this kid but it's obviously a long shot. I hope whatever he does is the best decision for him though. I hate to see when kids decide and then almost immediately regret it.

So a southern team not mentioned. Out of curiosity and this is not a troll, is there any chance it could be LSU, since we didn't take any linebackers in this class?

I believe I'd heard that Auburn had also reached out to him on Wednesday. Not saying it's them, just saying they could be in the picture

If Auburn swoops in, idk if I will be able to handle it. If he doesn't go to UGA, I'd rather him go as far west as possible.
