and then Gasden City....which is always a great game...two tough games in a row. Oxford could start out 0-3...OUCH.

On the subject of Yeldon...it would have only been a surprise had he not flipped. He made a smart decision. He was an early enrollee and at the time he was going to be setting foot on campus, he would have literally no clue what kind of offense that he was going to be playing in. Coulda been Pro-style, pass first TT spread or the triple option. Meanwhile, Bama wanted him, and had offensive continuity and proven recent success with RB's.

I'm not saying a flip isn't possible with Roc, of course it is. I'm just saying it's far less likely and a completely different situation.

Roc is a Bama fan though and I think the only reason he committed to Auburn is out of frustration that we didn't let him commit to us for so long.

We would have to do a lot of catching up, but it is very possible............ if he is thoroughly pissed at us.

I was under the impression that he was waiting for us to make the move, we didn't because we were aiming for LF and he decided to move on.

Relax buddy, I'm just going off the information provided by insiders on another site. Remember this is the same kid who tweeted a picture of himself with a Bama reflection in his visor.

Not saying we turn him, but if you think it's far fetched....

It's true that we held off Roc because we are still hot after LF. If LF plays this out until signing day and chooses LSU, then it was a mistake. If he commits early, whoever he chooses, then we would flip Roc.

Before Roc committed to them, this was how they felt about him and Bama

Now all the sudden he had a fully committable offer the whole time.

I don't think UA flips Roc. He seems more headstrong and prideful than most. Could be wrong though.

I wouldn't bet on that...these are 17-18 year old kids.

If LF commits to LSU in January I have every confidence that Roc Thomas will flip to Alabama. I'm from the Oxford area and that is the vibe some people seem to get from him.

Any Auburn fan that doesn't think Roc is a possible flip is setting themselves up for disappointment.

He might not flip but its a definite possibility.

My fear is LF strings us along long enough to take away any chance for us to make up any ground. I'd love to get LF but he is a long long shot.

I wish we would just go for him now...I don't think we have much of a chance with LF.

Well considering it came out that he did have one, things kind of changed. Also, most on here were going by the delusions posted by others about the non committable offer

Maybe he has a committable offer but his dad implied that Bama hadn't made him a priority due to taking 4 RBs last year

Well we sure as hell should considering he's one of the top RB's to come out of Calhoun County since Mac Campbell at Alexandria. I personally think Roc is a can't miss recruit. I Think Mac still owns all the Alabama state rushing records.

Racean Thomas stated on ask.fm that he had a committable offer from Alabama, but I have remained skeptical of that. I absolutely believe Alabama has slow-played him in favor of Leonard Fournette and others (for what reason, I have no clue). Kind of crazy, IYAM. He's be far in the league of Carnell Williams and TJ Yeldon when considering running back prospects from the state of Alabama.

I've always stated that I think Racean Thomas would flip to Alabama if given the chance, and if Leonard Fournette committed to LSU. However, if he does, indeed, commit to LSU in January, I think it would be a lost cause for Alabama to try to make up for lost time with Racean Thomas. They'd basically be trying to throw their name in the hat when Racean Thomas had already been committed to Auburn for around 5-6 months (can't remember exactly when he committed) after hardly staying in touch with him throughout the whole process.

IMO, of course.
