Any new news on this guy? Is he pretty much staying in the state of Alabama for sure or what? Whoever lands him is a lucky SOB. TIA.

He's looking heavily at Auburn right now. But I still think that Alabama can land him in the end. It all depends on how long the Alabama staff stays on other RBs.

I think its pretty much down to AU, Bama, OM, in that order. with AU and Bama being very close

Yea, I would throw AU slightly ahead at this loit due to we are recruiting him the hardest. His parents are starting to come around.
If Bama gets feeling nervous about Fournette and turn up the heat, they have as good a shot as any.

Damn i heard that LSU had a shot at him earlier in the process but that fire kinda burned out. Him and LF would remind me of a Ingram, Richardson 1,2 punch. A man can dream...

Alabama could have him right now if they wanted, but they are still slow playing him in favor of running backs like Leonard Fournette, Dalvin Cook, and Royce Freeman. That had lead to Roc Thomas taking 6 consecutive visits to Auburn before his unofficial visit to Alabama on June 4th. He and his parents are also saying all the right things, and his father noted the downside of going to Alabama as evidenced by the number of running backs they already have on roster.
I hope an Alabama fan does not take me saying this the wrong way, but the Alabama coaching staff might just be cocky enough to lose him in the end, if they wait too long. As it stands now, all Auburn fans think he would commit on the spot if given a commitable offer by Alabama.

Not to sound pessimistic, but I still think Alabama gets him in the end after LF goes to LSU.

AU Bama battle. I kinda hope Bama gets another RB so they won't push as hard.

We've been saying this for a while, so I dont think anyone will be upset. Reminds us of Jameis.

^^same here. He's one they'll regret not signing two years from now regardless of what happens with the other guys they're looking at.

This SOB is a young version of Caddy Williams, minus the injuries.

I know we're working him hard but I don't see him being allowed to leave the state.

His dad stated he wants him instate.

The way OM's recruiting guy is explaining it, and he very well could he spinning it OM's way, but it does make sense, is that Roc is well aware of Bama slow playing him for LF. He said that if LF commits early to LSU then Bama could make up the ground with Roc, but since he is waiting until the UA game, he thinks Bama will he too late. As I said, it could be spin, but its at least educated spin. OM is going after him like we did Tunsil, but we have gotten destroyed by Auburn in head to head battles and I don't think that will change. I think he's AU's to lose

Dalvin Cook?
Never say never, but....

I think he will commit to Auburn only to decommit to Alabama once LF makes it public that he is going to LSU.
