Sayin dropped 15 spots, right after he left Bama. Two Bama guys who stayed elevated to five stars.

Riddick for Auburn was a top 15 player when he was committed to UGA and was predicted to flip to Bama. Then he flipped to Auburn instead, and he dropped to #69.

I bet Mertz starts game 1, but I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if Lagway overtakes him at some point early in the season.

Urbs had job security and folks were excited about the future. Billy has to show Lagway’s the answer in 2025. At some point, that means taking off the training wheels.

you are looking at 247 and not the composite.. they made some changed to the site and you should be able to look at both now.

Lagway is an absolute stud and a great kid. UF lucked into an absolute winner.
I hate for him that his coach will be fired in year 1.

You are misremembering. Urban even said in Swamp Kings when he lost to South Carolina in 2005 that he thought he was done at UF and had a borderline panic attack on the flight back to Gainesville.
The offense in 2006 was not great and there were plenty of question marks, especially early in the year.

Lagway has been consistently good for a while now. No reason why he shouldn’t be considered a top or the top QB. Good for him.
