I could see Ole Miss having a huge season and flipping some of the local kids but surprised the prediction class consists of guys pretty locked in with other schools. LSU never signs Arkansas kids so maybe he is in play. Our OL coach is elite though.

I don’t know if I would be saying that when you just got mauled by an undersized and unathletic USC DL. I was expecting to see a dominate performance Sunday and walked away going other than Campbell I didn’t see quality play.

pass blocking was phenomenal, run blocking could improove but I was disappointed in Caleb Jackson's vision (or lack there of)
Campbell and Emery Jones are both projected first rounders and Chester will eventually be a top pick. I'd say recruits appreciate that kind of development.
also you don't have to act like USC is sisters of the poor. They have recruited well and brought in a top notch DC.

Never worried about Lane and QB recruiting. And frankly, the days of missing a HS recruit really affecting you are over since you can fill needs through the portal. Sometimes you fill the need with the HS player you missed.
Lane shoots for 4/5 Star high school players. But in his mind, taking a 3 star developmental player is pointless. He can go to G5 or other P5 schools and take older kids with college experience. This is 4 years of this style. People keep doubting it but it has worked so far. Shoot for elite HS talent, if you can't get it, get older developed players in the portal. To be honest, it is the best way Ole Miss can do it. Because we are never going to consistently have top 10 HS classes.

Most good to elite players only play 3 years anyway. A solid 4 star may make meaningful contributions as a true sophomore through his senior season and an elite 5 star is leaving after his junior year.
You truly only get 2 high performance years out of most players.

They went 2/5 on the flips mentioned in the OP.
Flipped Lockhart and Cunningham, missed on Dear, Knight and Melendez.
