As long as we stop pretending that any prospect ranking, outside of the 20-25 guys that are obviously NFL prospects coming out of high school, is legit.

Idk why you all pay for fake shitty rankings from dudes that can't get real football jobs and only watch 5 min of film on each player.

It's like Heinz 57. Totally not a gerrymandered stat to make OU look good or anything.

Okay use 247 composite it doesn’t matter we still has top 5 class. Which is better than any shite talkers on this site other than Bama or UGA

I have seen fans from all your schools commenting about espn rankings one time or another …. When it’s your shitty school it’s okay right losers .

Why don’t you actually use normal recruiting rankings from normal services. Guess you will learn that ESPN is trash when you come into the SEC.

You do realize Riley had good classes as well but EVERY year you guys floundered, EVERY YEAR!
You will not be able to hold up to the weekly grind of SEC football, good luck though.

ESPN rankings don't even count even when they work in my favor as an LSU fan. Their rankings and evaluations are widely regarded as the worst out there.

This would be true. There is no reason to have their rankings in the 247 composite. They are wildly random.

Big yep to this. Not sure how these dudes are sprinting to Norman with an unproven head coach that lost by 49 to an inconsistent Texas team. I’ll say that Arnold kid will probably be the best QB in the class…should he explore other options.

Will always be a top 10 program and naturally the name recruits itself but Lincoln set yall back for a few years and it will take a few more classes like the one yall got to become playoff competitive again. I expect you guys will make some noise in a few years once the dust settles. Good luck

Seems like ESPN is leaving money on the table not having the Hot 57 sponsored by Heinz. Next year?

The only way Riley set back Oklahoma is by leaving them. When he was at OU only Alabama and CLemson were in the playoffs more often.

You have never read that espn has credible ranks whether it’s regarding an lsu recruit or not on this board. They are routinely out of step with other recruiting services and it’s pretty common knowledge to people that follow recruiting.

Recruiting rankings are, in the long run, a guage of overall roster talent. But as proven time and time again, not an end all indicator that a championship is forthcoming.
4 and 5 stars won't live up to their rankings, 3 stars will surprise and rise to be better college players.
Coaching and development are more important in the long run.
