Rumors seem to point to A&M offering a payroll as of yesterday. A salary that LSU won't match.
Sounds like Perkins decommitted from Aggie more so than anybody stole him. LSU might just be lucky enough to catch him.
Needs wise, Perkins is more important than Mathews. It just looks really bad to lose a lot of top players out of your own state. We got the best 2, but we're losing some of the rest to SEC West teams.

There's salary, and there's NIL. You put the quotations on the wrong word, shitbreath.
This isn't a case of Mathews going to different alumni groups and businesses and taking some money from each. This is him being paid a regular salary as long as the football team wants to pay it to him.

The logic pretzel that Perkins is going to LSU and Matthews is going to A&M because of A&M NIL money would make Auntie Anne's proud. Both schools offer incentives and if anything Matthews can probably get more as a local LA kid and Perkins as a Houston kid at the other school.
Reality is Matthews has been high on A&M for a very long time and has always glowed when talking about his relationships with the coaches here especially. Perkins has a ton of family in LA. Both schools have money.
Your life will be much better when you stop trying to find ways to use NIL as the sole reason A&M is succeeding and LSU is not or vice versa. I suppose you bought the $30 Million number someone threw around about A&M as well?
If that were really the case then why does A&M have so many stars turning pro early? Why did so many opt out? I mean if we just have all this cash you don't think we would spend it on proven players but rather on untested recruits?

Yes, shite stain. This is Jimbo and A&M boosters organizing different NIL deals to sponsor Jacoby. Once said businesses/boosters are organized and in place, Jimbo calls up Jacoby and family and says, "we'll pay you $800,000 to come play for A&M!"
