Dunbar didn't recruit anyway. No one knows what he did in the off season.

Not necessarily true. Saban may go with Lupoi at DL and hire a new OLBs coach. Depends on finding someone with elite recruiting credentials.

Can you give more info? Who left? I don't recall any Aggie coach leaving just days after signing day, but I could be forgetting. I seem to remember someone taking an obvious promotion very shortly after signing day, but it was a job that opened up after signing day, and it was like a week later.

We fired Dave Christenson but I don’t recall when. We also brought in chief. He built his staff around that time.

Regardless DC was a huge dbag and deserved to be fired midsession.

If A&M did it then it was a shite move by Sumlin.

DC was an O line coach

Mark Hagen is the other. again this is just one year. This practice happens at every school

Nick Saban, the head coach and boss of Tosh Lupoi, knew that the position coach for Brown would be resigning. He deceived Brown by allowing Brown to believe, even when he knew it was false, that he intended Dunbar to be Brown's position coach.

So you are telling me that Brown is that dumb and was not able to read about the possibility of Dunbar leaving for the NFL for the past 2 or 3 months. It is has been out there.

And when did Brown lie to UA? I am so lost right now.

Hey Brown. Comes to Bama. We're this, we're that, etc. This your position coach. He's... (read resume here) and will help you get you to the league.

I don’t think either Hagen or Christensen were fired the day after signing day. Moreover, my point isn’t so much about the unethical nature of the practice, but the hypocrisy of coaches and fans who defend the practice while badmouthing kids who decommit or deceive coaches about their intentions.

Just a few days after, doesnt really matter if the day or a few.

It does matter the day after or a week after, as we can be more certain that the coaches new that the departed coach wasn’t going to be around when it’s literally the next day.

As the A&M coaches knew they wouldnt be retained very long after signing day as well.

A few days is laughable if thats the point for hypocrisy

I have failed to see any Bama fans say anything negative at all about Brown. Why the shitty thread just a habit?

Francois after finding out the Jimbo news. And that is much worse coming from a head coach to a bunch of college kids that he promised to mentor.
