How does the rest of the sec feel about landing hudson henry

#1 tight end in the country and Younger brother of hunter Henry but hasn't committed to the hogs yet and seems to be keeping his options open. Has any word came out on who might be our biggest contenders? 247

Alabama recently offered. But I doubt he goes anywhere but Arkansas. Had a better shot with his brother a few years ago.

I have no idea how Sumlin was able to ever recruit a single blue chip TE to A&M. They played so little across the multiple offenses that were run during his time.
Now Morris’s Os are different, but I don’t recall him using a TE much.

He’s said as much. If we get the Chad Morris Clemson offense then we’ll land Hudson. If we get the Chad Morris SMU offense then he’ll go elsewhere.
Considering he had no TE’s at SMU when he came in and our depth at the position is comparable to his time at Clemson, I imagine we’ll get the Clemson version of his offense and land Henry.

He has six TEs (before possible position changes) to use and I doubt he’ll be as stubborn as Bielema and not adapt to the strengths of his roster. He did well with Dwayne Allen and Jordan Leggett at Clemson. June Jones wasn’t recruiting any TE to SMU. Sure they will have different, expanded roles as fullbacks are now being coached by Lunney and only RBs with Traylor.

Did Dan Enos have a good relationship with the family? Give Alabama an in if Arkansas doesn’t use the TE effectively with Morris?

He only coached Hunter his last year at Arkansas so who knows. Hunter won the Mackey that year but he was already the top TE in the country coming in to that season.
Barry Lunney Jr was his position coach all three years at Arkansas and Morris retained him as his TE coach. Lunney is a legend in the state and does have a strong relationship with the Henry’s. That was a very key move by Morris.

Do Arkansas fans feel Notre Dame is a threat? I believe they signed a kid from Pulaski Academy in the 2018 class.
They usually use the TEs a lot. And have produced some NFL talent there. Really wanted Alabama to hire their OC. He’s from Birmingham and from an Alabama family.

Havent bothered offering. The BBall player on our team that they love to mention plays TE on the football team has a lil bro that is a 4* #8 TE in the country. That plus having 3 years worth of recruiting classes that rode the bench behind Hurst has us with little worry about that position atm.

He sure is a goofy looking motherfricker huh? Lol. Idk, I'm sure sure lsu would take him if he wants to come here. Seems like a good player. Doubt we get him.
