I really do not thnk Saban cares about Foster recruitment other than an opportunity to flip him back. He would not be so great at what he do if he got caught up in losing a recruit or getting one.
I think he puts a star next to the kids name on his recruiting board or something and starts his next phase in motion.

Auburn needs to set their sites on OJ Howard next. I would love to have another great TE to follow Lutz.
Didn't Bama flip Lutz last year . . .

I guess though that Foster's parents couldn't make the trip.

Gets my vote for the gayest post of the year.

I imagine most of Saban's retaliating will be done on the field.

This...he isn't petty enough to let an 18 year olds actions dictate his day-to-day..but an elephant never forgets, it will be in the back of his mind. Had he not been a smart arse and used yeldon's speech, I think saban would have been upset and frustrated..now he will probably take the stance of, "ok you little shite, we'll see how funny it is in november."
I'm expecting a relentless beating in BDS

I was afraid he shattered his knee cap or something on that play

Personally, I have high hopes for Parks.

While I don't disagree with you, Saban does play the game. He signed Corey Grant out of Auburn's back yard with no intention of letting him play offense, rather intending to put him at DB and if he didn't do well, he'd process him out. Hell, look what happened to Petey Smith. Both of those guys were recruited to Bama to send the message that Little Nicky could get whomever he damn well pleased.
The fact that Chizik, a coach who is given virtually no credit by anyone outside of Auburn, has done as well in recruiting despite Saban's best efforts has to chap his arse at least a little. Especially now that CGC has flipped the script and taken Bama's top rated prospect away less than a year after Bama took Auburn's top rated prospect away.

Spot on... Also, remember the Alabama coaches, fans, etc. were laughing when Chizik was hired... I am just thankful that Tommy "scared to compete with Saban" Tubs was replaced... (Full disclosure: I really like Tubs and hope he does well)

Opelika is only AU's backyard geographically. By the mindset there it might as well be Little Tuscaloosa. Hugh concentration of Gumps that resent the fact they exist because of Auburn University.

Very shocking right? I've got no reason to think bama could ever beat the shite out of auburn, just my homerism
Posted on 7/15/12 at 9:43 am to Riseupfromtherubble
Hopefully our offensice gameplan this year wont be run up the middle for no gain, toss to Omac for 1 yard, bubble screen on 3rd and long for 2 yard loss, punt.

no shite. I can't recall the last time we threw a quick slant, much less completed one. I would much rather be completing passes to guys in full stride than throwing bubbles screens to guys with no momentum.

We weren't the only ones...a lot of your fanbase was "meh" a lot were "ok" and a lot felt the same as "we want a winner not a loser" airport guy. When he was hires his record was 5-19, not many au fans were screaming homerun hire. Hes done much better than I expected, I'll give him that. Luckily for y'all he doesn't have a passion for duck hunting
