Interesting. I'm very surprised they took his commitment. Everything out of Fayetteville is that he won't make his grades. Good player if he does though.

Heads up.. This will be one that gets removed from the commit list late in the process unless things change.

Regardless of the grade situation, don't bring the sour grapes.

No sour grapes. We haven't even offered.

One of my favorite recruits nationally in the entire class of 2017 on film. What an explosive first step!

In the early Spring, it was thought he wouldn't have the grades. Now, as of a few weeks ago, he's expected to make it. Bama, Ohio State, and FSU think he's going to make it and recently turned the heat up on him. Has the best first step that I've seen for a DT in the 2017 class. If one of our mods is to be believed, he's the #2 DT on our board nationally behind only Marvin Wilson and ahead of Aubrey Solomon and Tyler Shelvin.

No sour grapes. Y'all can afford to take an out of state commit that you may have to pull or that may not make it.
We are very VERY careful about in state offers if there's any question. The fact that we haven't offered says something.
Best of luck to him, I hope he can continue his career.

It seems that the no Arkansas offer from 1/2 mile up the road seems to be more than grades. Good luck to him, hope he tiurns into a positive role model

Don't bet against Bama doing the (magic) work to get him enrolled. They've done it a few times in the past with Louisiana kids...

Going to Bama...will get eligible.

Well I hope the kid gets eligible, he is a force on the field. If he does, Arkansas will offer. Good Luck Akial!

I like how you say this as if it'll mean anything for Arky.

Yeah I'm sure a hometown kid with several friends and former teammates on the team wouldn't even consider it.
If we don't offer even if he gets his academics cleared up then Bielema must think it's behavioral related
