one player doesn't make a class neither does ONE good class... it's all about consistency over several recruiting cycles.
Ok?

Who has claimed otherwise? And are you implying that Texas A&M hasn't had consistency?

Consistency is being established... Golden, Manning, Washington, Watts, Harvey, DSG, Ellis, Garner, Hall, Hoza, Miles, Walker, and of course the gem in Garrett are all concensus 4* or above talent in the last two classes.
Not to mention our best LB is a 3* from the last class, and we are in the hunt for some truly elite defensive talent this year, and in 2015.
That is the defensive side of the ball. And I'm sure I missed a few, but we haven't had this kind of talent on defense since I was at A&M. As for the offense? Talent and speed galore.
Sumlin is building a true contender, but that takes a little time

"Best player in Texas" is always subjective. Garrett is a monster though, had a 9 sack game last Saturday (at some point you would think they would adjust).
One player does not a great D make but this was the most important target for A&M. Instant impact level talent at a huge area of need. He was a lean for a good while now so A&M needed to close him up and we will get some excellent run from it as well. Love it if we can get Daylon Mack to finally pull the trigger while on campus this weekend.
The key to success for A&M in the post Manziel era is having a quality D. The model of outscoring opponents isn't sustainable, that's why Ags are so fired up about this one. Need to keep closing them up and finish the class strong.

Sumlin is quietly building a nice defense over there.
First rant post that accuses Aggies of being quiet.

Texas A&M is dirty as frick. That's all I'm going to say.
Yeah, but what can you expect. It's an older campus, its bound to be a little dirtier due to older buildings, etc.

Great pickup for A&M but tony brown is the best player in Texas in my opinion
Don't get me wrong, Tony Brown is an athletic freak, but his rating is based off potential more than anything. His film is decent, not great. Watch a guy like Jamal Adams, and he stands out on film way more.
Brown is not the best player in the state, and I would say that even if he were committed to us. He has the ability to be a great player though and he is athletic as they come.
I realize we are just talking about opinions here, but watch the film. He is a poor tackler.
Still, I would love to have him.

I know when I think of squeaky clean programs I always think of LSU.

Never said LSU was clean. But there are a few select CFB programs that are just way dirtier than the other schools. TAMU is one of them.
Come on now. This is just silly. What has TAMU done that is dirty? The only school the above applies to is Alabama.

We were all dirty as hell back in the SWC days. Now I think it's pretty much cleaned up.

Way to shite on the good news for your team Hank.

"A&M is dirty" would've been a better troll in the Sherman days. After Manziel most of our fanbase is in the "screw the NCAA and its made up rules" camp
