Sumlin is a boss, he'll win the SEC before you know it.

So you definitively say hes not the best player in Texas and then say its Brown in your opinion?

Regardless of whether hes the best or 2nd best, I think you would agree that A&M needs Myles Garrett a heck of a lot more than Tony Brown

well yea

i was just responding to why you see some people say myles garret is #1. because some sites have him as. but he is clearly at least #2. doesnt really matter. both are fricking studs

Yes and your opinion of course isn't influenced by the fact Tony Brown is a target for LSU.

BUT BUT Sumlin only knows how to recruit offense, he'll never recruit a defense good enough for the SEC-The Rant

Congrats! Sumlin is quietly building a nice defense over there.

he literally just brought in one of the best players in the entire country. i dont know how it can be "remain to be seen" towards his ability to bring in top defensive talent

"Remains to be seen" if he can make A&M have a dominant D

Not recruit a 5 star defensive player

one player doesn't make a class neither does ONE good class... it's all about consistency over several recruiting cycles.

well we never will have a dominant d because of our offense. but all we need is a top 30ish defense with the offense we will have. and we should have that with the players being brought in

So would you consider your defense as dominant as of a result of recruiting said players?

not yet because the players sumlin has brought in arent there yet. but he brought in legit talent in our last class, he is bringing it in with this current class, and we are in really good shape for our next one. so to say that bringing in myles garret is an outlier and sumlin has not shown the ability to recruit defensive talent across the board and across classes is stupid
