Why are you so concerned with ND and LSU recruiting?

OP has been melting over LSU ever since the Mizzou All-SEC freshman DL transferred to LSU the first chance he got.

There’s also a small chance Kelly wins 5 championships in a row.

You are talking out of your arse.

So Kelly has won more games with less “talents” than any Notre Dame coach?

This smells like a troll thread, and imo, should not be here. However, the narrative of his having more wins than any other coach at ND should stop. The reason he has more wins is because he was at ND longer than any other coach. In win % he slots in at #16 at ND. That said, some with higher win % also were only there for 2-3 years, so it's hard to go by that, too.

I think he will do fine at LSU. I'll wait to see how well he does. He really hasn't recruited well in the past for it to be ND, and it has nothing to do with how difficult it is or is not to recruit there.

It's hard to tell how good of a recruiter he is because their past few coaches have been pretty bad at everything. We'll have a better snapshot of how good he is (or is not) with this class as he will have had a full year at LSU. He should do well, though. LSU can recruit itself.

I am betting Kelly will never win a championship at LSU!

Most of those cats committed to BK at ND. Anything to discredit BK though. Have you seen ALL the offers LSU has made to players in the mizzou area? Unheard of before coach kelly and steeples.

You know the inner workings of ND recruiting? What makes you think most of the players committed for Brian Kelly?

Missouri is a hot bed of talent? It excites you that he is recruiting Missouri kids?

Look. I don't know why people think they have to go overboard one way or the other about Brian Kelly. Maybe he'll win championships every year and turn LSU into the next Alabama. Maybe he will fall on his face. We'll see.

Reason I said LSU not winning championship with Kelly is there are too many teams that are already in good shape and are ahead of LSU right now. Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Alabama, Georgia, and possible Florida and Arkansas. Then there are other surprise teams. Look where those same or similar teams were when LSU won the championship? Texas A&M is now breaking out of the gate with a top recruiting class. That looks to be the beginning of a new ERA for Texas A&M with top 5 recruiting classes yearly. Then Ole Miss with Kiffin. Doing an awesome job so far. Only going to get better. Then there are others. I am telling you Kelly isn't the issue it will be other teams making huge gains against LSU and Kelly. Those same teams in the past aren't going to be the same. This is a new generation. Get on with it!

True Lefty is just concerned that LSU is now going to raid his backyard.

That's the story here...

Its the balance of the roster that lsu will dominate, its as simple as southern 3 stars are better than northern 3 stars.... The stars are the stars regardless...

Tell that to LSU fans who keep on telling Texas A&M that Fisher and A&M will go 8-4 no matter if they get the number one recruiting class every year. That is why I am pointing out that LSU won with Orgeron because rest of SEC were down. How the heck did Mizzou win the east division twice? I guess you could say east teams were down. Just like the west teams were down. Not this time around with at least 4 teams in better position than LSU right now.
ND is ranked in the top 10. I believe Kelly held the team down. We shall see if this new HC will do a better job than when Kelly was the HC at ND.

None of this has any relation at all to what was posted.

Jimbo won't win because he's not a good coach. The rest of your post is just nonsensical.

Wonder why? Kelly tried to get some to join him at LSU but only 1 did.

If Marcus Freeman isn’t promoted, he and several others follow Kelly to LSU. Freeman has even said he expected to follow Kelly to LSU before he was offered the head gig. ND’s number 1 goal was to keep the staff together. If an outside hire is made, our staff looks a lot different.

However, I’m stoked for the staff that Kelly put together and am very confident we finish this class ranked above ND.

You hang your hat on recruiting too much, but that’s all your coach has to hang his job hopes on now, so I guess it’s understandable…

Saban tried the same thing when he took the LSU job and ZERO joined him. Zero concern with that. Every point I see you make makes zero sense.
