Nutt did the same his first 2 years.

If you want to compare this to the Nutt tenure, and I know you do, go right ahead punkin.

You will be disappointed in the end though.

Just my opinion, but this question can't be answered until both coaches have a somewhat established head coaching record at their current schools... it's easy to sell the future when your track record is limited.

with that said, Freeze gets my vote as of now... UT has a lot more going for it than Ole Miss will probably ever have, making it an easier sell.

So like 10 wins the last 3 years is more than Ole Miss will ever have. I'm gonna tell Freeze he may as well just pack it up for the summer.

I'm sure he's referring to recent SEC titles, national title, 100k seat stadium, etc.

Unfortunately Tennessee still has that fricking ugly orange as their main color, which counteracts all of that

We can't make that determination for a couple more years.
I remember when Rebel fans were thumping their chests over Nutt's first class but a couple years down the road about half that class wasn't even on campus.

One thing I do know is that I would never play for someone like Freeze. He reminds me of some sleaze ball televangelist and I expect his stay in Oxford won't end well.

Choctaw is a known OM hater. Mostly because Nutt won in Fayetteville year one. Partly because we are just better than him.

Easy, it is Butch. Anyone can recruit like Hugh when you pay kids like they do. Butch isn't working with nearly as fat of a wallet.

Not sure how you get that out of my post because I posted two facts and one opinion. As most Rebel fans do you are wont to ignore facts and you try to steer the thread in a different direction by name-calling and throwing out unfounded accusations. Well, lets get back on course with facts.

Fact #1: “We can't make that determination for a couple more years”.

Response: This is response to the OP’s question. Anybody arguing differently is beyond ignorant and deserves no further time in this discussion.

Fact #2: I remember when Rebel fans were thumping their chests over Nutt's first class (I’m referring to Nutt’s 2009 top 20 rated class because it was his first class after he had been at Ole Miss for a full year) but, a couple years down the road about half that class wasn't even on campus.

Response: This isn’t even arguable and anybody trying to has selective amnesia. You Rebels were so giddy over Nutt’s class and the way things were trending, you just knew that Nutt would have you in the SEC Championship often. Then reality set in and you became what you always have been, a cellar dweller program with little upside. I’m confident you will once again realize that in a few short years.

Opinion (In reference to Freeze):
He reminds me of some sleaze ball televangelist and I expect his stay in Oxford won't end well.

Response: Ole Miss coach Freeze reduced to tears by juco signature. See below.

If that isn’t shades of a televangelist (Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart anyone?), what is? Freeze is a phony and will be exposed as one sooner rather than later. Crying on the damn phone because a recruit committed to play a game for him. Unbelievable.

A Crying Freeze: LINK

"He started crying on the phone," Hooks said. "He told me this is going to be the best decision of your life and that he was proud I was part of the family."

And for those of you with selective amnesia, here are a couple of articles about Nutt’s recruiting classes in 2009 (top 20 class) and 2010 (ranked #14 in the Nation by Scout).

Do you realize that this is the Internet and nobody really cares what you have to say or think nearly as much as you want them to? It's truly pathetic at the amount of effort and time that you had to spend to come up with that for a message board. Bet you are a wad of fun to hang out with IRL...

Freeze

Jones has much better resources at his disposal in Knoxville.

And like the other guy said, top classes should be expected at UT. Freeze signing a top 10 class at a school that hasn't done anything since the color barrier was broken is nothing short of amazing.
