And all 3 of the Top 3 skill guys on offense.

Continuing to recruit Louisiana well will be instrumental moving forward. Brian Kelly I’m sure will emphasize keeping kids at home.

Looking ahead to next year, it looks to be another talent filled class for the state of Louisiana, and we’re seeing Texas A&M continue to creep in as well.

Kelly’s ability to lock down the state will be one of the biggest contributing factors to his success or failure, IMO.

Next year’s Alabama HS class is loaded. State hasn’t seen something like it in years. We will fill ours with Bama kids more than likely, while cherry picking wants&needs from other states.

LeVeon Moss is the #5 player and #2 Skill player (assuming you aren't counting Howard as a QB which is odd).

That said at best LSU will get 4 of the Top 8 and if Matthews goes Aggy then they will get 3. To those who realize that football was actually played in Louisiana prior to 2000 realize this could easily become the norm, Louisiana hasn't always been locked down.

“Louisiana sports” has a direct impact on the quality of Alabama sports - particularly when Coach Saban is able to use it as a feeder league for his football program.

He fell flat on his fricking face this cycle. We’ll see how he does next year. Woodward needs to realize his contributions for fundraising NIL deals will be ultimately the most important to keep the kids instate

Honestly and ironically, we would be in much worse shape if the transfer portal and immediate eligibility weren’t allowed.

Kelly is about to go to work getting transfers to fill in a lot of the gaps. Sucks for mid majors that find a diamond in the rough that will then get poached. But here we are

Kelly is a terrible hire and continues to be a lazy recruiter. I knew he wouldn't move the needle with most Louisiana elite football recruits. Hire a young guy if you can't hire a proven championship coach.

That statement would be factual if Kelly didn’t sign guys like Howard, Campbell, and Wiggins

Anderson, Shazz, and Law were all leaning Bama before O was fired. Kelly was behind before he even started on them.

I doubt there was any coaching hire that could have been made that would have made up enough ground to sign all 3 of them

If Walter Bob had better grades we'd have him. And, don't get me started on Wiggins. Wiggins wants to be in Tuscaloosa bad.

only so many can see the field at one time so it honestly doesn’t matter, Bama will be good either way

thanks to the transfer portal it’s almost worth it if Bama pays them the initial fee to ride the bench for a year and then processes them out to wherever

It's ok, transition year. Kelly will seal that shite up. He's not a clown like Miles and O was.

All 3 sign with LSU if O was still there.

O kept Saban from landed the top Louisiana kids.

With Kelly at LSU, Saban is back to cherry picking top Louisiana recruits.

I see you're not limiting your melting to just the CCB.

Kelly came out of the ESD with a great haul all things considered. locked down the best QB we've had in LA in 20 years and the best OT since Cam Rob. grabbed some great OL, DB, DL, and a great linebacker.

Hit the portal hard and already grabbed the best OL in the portal and in on another.

Still have Citizen, Perkins, and Matthews we're in on, as well as some under the radar guys.

While losing the trio of WR stings, it's not the end of the world. Luckily we took a big WR haul last year, and if we keep Boutte, we're looking at one of the better WR rooms in the country next year if guys progress how they have been at LSU.

Obviously have to lock down the state moving forward. This class was never going to do that when we fired Orgeron.

This is incorrect. Anderson wanted out, Preston and Law never really showed interest typical LA kids show. Then when the entire coaching staff was fired, their decision became easier.

So Saban just didn't want the 5 star OT, 5 star quarterback, or the 5 star safety? Got it.

We got the top Louisiana kids this cycle already

How many WRs are on the Bama roster right now adding in this class? Only the best will play anyway. Depth at receiver isn’t near as useful as other positions. And with the transfer portal the way it is it’s not as if you are ever truly locking these kids down
