Auburn has offered former #LSU LB Clifton Garrett. He's at JUCO now after things didn't work out in Baton Rouge.

Good luck with that Auburn.

More SEC offers will follow... I expect OM to offer as well cause our LB recruiting has been so shitty the last couple years.

He's too busy going out, getting wasted, and skipping class to care what offers he has.

He was way overrated, getting passed up by walk ons for playing time last spring. He has like 9 tackles for Arizona Western JC this year which is like 5th among their LBs.

More interested in ripping cigs and drinking at the bar than playing SEC level football. Played shite competition in suburban Chicago. Really disappointed LSU wasn't all over Kenny Young instead of Garrett for 2014, even though it might not have mattered. Auburn should leave this guy alone. Not impressed with Gus and company's ability to evaluate and pull in talent

Kenny Young was not coming to LSU. He wanted to go out the the left coast. Garrett would be a wasted scholly to any SEC school that would offer. Dude can barely hold his own at JC.

Auburn is better than this. That guy is a waste of a scholly. Terrible attitude, lack of competitiveness, and does not take care of his body. Saw that guy out almost every time I went out and he did NOT look like an SEC LB.

Auburn is just going to rehab him into the number 1 overall pick in the draft. It's what we do.

What does that say about Miles and company's ability to evaluate talent since LSU already signed him? LSU and AU go after a lot of the same guys.

Just give him a cool nickname like duke, the rest will take care of itself.

The guy who wanted him so badly and recruited him (one of the very few he ever put any effort into recruiting) is now the DC at A&M

You will not see 1 LSU fan say Chavis had any eye for talent.

John Chavis personally was pretty bad at evaluating talent. Most of the players he had at his disposal at LSU were brought in by those around him. With that said, Clifton Garret was HIS GUY in the 2014 class. I think I remember reading that Chief had him as his number one player on his big board for that class. I mean the dude was a 5* recruit.

But for auburn to be all over the guy after he flaked out at LSU and couldn't hardly get snaps in the spring game at LSU, that's a sad sad thing to think about. What a joke. Tells me all i need to know about the talent level on defense and the level of defensive recruiting going on on the plains.

And when you look out on the field at LSU's team, then look out on the field at Auburn's team, and look at how many players from Miles teams are in the league and how those guys are performing in the league, you can clearly see which program has an eye for talent

And honestly, LSU and auburn really don't go after a lot of the same guys. Sure auburn begs guys like Kevin Toliver and Trayvon Mullen to visit, but they have no interest in playing patty cake ball at auburn. They're gonna go get to the league in 3 years at LSU.
