There have been 5 other players, EVER, with this high of a ranking.

1. Clowney
2. Nkedemdiche
3. Rashan Gary
4. Vince Young
5. Ernie Sims

When watching highlights, they don't even look like they're playing the same sport as arch.

I’m not talking about that at all. I’m talking about the 5 stars and highly rated QB’s who have done nothing but transfer, sit on the bench, or regress.

I've thought it would be Texas for the longest time but something tells me Saban somehow gets Arch. I think it he will go back and forth between UT, UGA, and Bama and at the end he likes the opportunity to start as a frosh which won't be available at Texas and he wants to win a national championship. Both those will also be available at UGA, but think Matt Luke was leading his recruitment so would have to think him retiring hurts UGA a little bit. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at any of those 3 but I think the success bama has had recently with Tua, Hurts, Mac and Young, along with the Saban factor will put him to Bama.

Once Cutcliffe went to Texas this one was over.

I wouldn't think he cares that much about winning a national championship if he's still considering Texas this late in the process.

I am always taken back by the lack of awareness by Alabama fans (Some, I should say) Have you forgotten Alabama's own failures from the QB room early in Saban's run?

Phillip Sims
Cooper Bateman
David Cornwell
Blake Barnett
Taulia Tagavaloa

And let's not even get into the RBs. Y'all have done very well with both QBs and RBs but let's not pretend Alabama has not had a bench of each position sit the bench, regress or transfer out. To be pointing fingers at the team that just beat your team for a title seems dd at best.

Damn. Saban got Sankey to give him a strong arse offer just to keep him out of Texas. Well played.

What I find odd is you think I can’t talk about UGA’s failures at QB just because my favorite team had bad ones and got beat in a title game. I think the only one who has a lack of awareness is you

Absolutely not. It just seems odd that you don't believe Georgia can get Manning because of our failures at QB, but you think Alabama can in spite of their own failures. Just seems......off.

I never said that. I said I thought the mannings would be smarter than sending his kid to UGA. And if you haven’t noticed, Alabama has actually produced QB’s since their failures. Kirby has more transfer QB’s drafted than ones who stuck around

Because?

I mean, the way you say it reminds of when some Georgia fans would mock a school for not winning a title in a while. You criticize Georgia for having troubles in the past with QBs while Alabama has had their own share.

And of course you ignore that we took a walk-on and turned him into a pretty good (Not great) QB.

Hey. You be you. Me? I try not to criticize schools for having similar problems my own school has had.

ETA
And for the record? I don't care how many get drafted if we win titles.

But it would be smart to send their kid to Texas? Something doesn't add up here
