Bama is trying to hire Cutcliffe too. It's far from a lock he takes the Texas job. If he does, we will get Manning.

I hope you do, sip. We all know he will never realize any kind of potential in that cesspool in Austin

Cutcliffe is from Birmingham. And graduated from Alabama. I wouldn’t be surprised if he decided to take Saban’s offer. But I haven’t really heard anything on this.

U think so ? Really ? The first Manning to commit to a school to play football outside the sec conference ?? You actually think that will happen ? I think all the women in that family went to sec schools as well.

Not surprising. It's well known that he really likes Sark. Now, if Texas falls on it's face again...

going to UGA, has nothing to do with the coaches.

Then what’s the reason?

He and the family really like Buster Faulkner so I’m not sure it has nothing to do with the coaches.

I don’t really see the Ags interested. Right now they have a great three deep mix of new guys and old. Have to think the Mannings will go where he can get paid and start immediately.

I really think the dawgs are better off without him. We have 2 really good QBs ahead of him, and I don't think we should mess that up. There would be pressure to play him, resulting in some bad locker room mojo, transfers etc...

We offered the 5 star QB from Michigan. #3 qb.

Well, if we gotta have one this year, Arch would be the best option, because of the recruits that he would bring with him, but I don't think he's better than the two we have ahead of him now.

Everyone is missing the biggest factor....winning. If Sark keeps up the decade plus long pattern...they will continue to struggle in recruiting.

Texas does have one hell of an opportunity this coming season with OU being down. If they screw this coming season up and don't win the Big 12, nothing has changed. Just new faces with same results.

I personally wouldn't expect much other than a few good wins with more disappointing losses. And I am sure the players will get the blame....again. Sark is completely and totally unproven and Year 1 was a disaster.

Patterson is only went to Texas as a frick you to TCU. His defenses haven’t been good for a while now so I don’t see him really helping much on that front. I doubt he does much more than cash a paycheck and play golf.

Agreed. Arch overrated AF.

Overrated sure, but he's still a top 5 QB in this class without the last name. Let's not get into the trap of swinging from he's overrated to he's garbage.

Kid isn't even the best QB in LA, much less the Southeast

That Collins kid committed to Purdue is that good?

Edit: not a troll, forgot about the A&M kid

I think he's overrated too, and think if he comes to UGA he'll cause some riff among our already great QBs, that are better by the way, that are already in the Q.

You think Gunner Stockton is better than Arch Manning??

That would be false.

Have you watched Arch play? He's just not that good at the things that matter like being a leader, and playing the game of football. Maybe he is good at seven on seven (I don't know), but his actual football career has been pretty bad.

I know A&M fans compare him to Chris Simms, but at least that kid had skills before Texas ruined him.

When have you watched him play? You live in Colorado.

I do. I also have friends in LA that follow HS football, and there is always the Internet. His stats are simply terrible so far - he's getting by on the Manning name and "potential". Maybe he will eventually be great, but he sure as hell isn't right now
